Normally, I wouldn't have a lot of concern with LBJ being dinged but he has been in the league 13 years and this is a back issue. If it were a strain or something I wouldn't have too much concern but if he's getting injections, it is a bit of a cause for alarm.
We like to think of him as invincible because he's a superfreak of an athlete but he's not immortal. I'm far from a professional athlete and cracked a disc in my lower back years ago. Trust me, once it starts, it doesn't really get better anytime soon. Can't imagine what a world class athlete, who can be involved in 100 games (preseason/regular/playoffs) would deal with.
As far as teams like Chicago & Miami, I expect their coaches to follow a similar path as the Cavs and pace themselves (rest players) for the long haul. They probably have the same mindset where all they really need to do is get in and see what happens from there. Realistically, Chicago doesn't stand much of a chance.
