Patterson swarming Love, Love tries to clear space and pas but catches Patterson in jaw and drops him....result flagrant 1 2 ft and ball.

LeBron goes by defender, non-dribbling arm goes back and contacts side of defender's neck/face, defender flails as if Roughned Odor punched him and then LeBron goes up and gets smacked three times as hard in the face....result is foul on LeBron, Raptors ball.

LeBron's knee contacts ball handler as offensive screener pancakes Cavs defender...result, foul on LeBron, Raptors ball

Let's just do that for the next 3 games and get some rest for the finals!

Should be no secret by now that no team is beating the Cavs in the playoffs this year. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see the Cavs become the 1st team ever to go 16-0 in the playoffs.

If the refs called that correctly though the game would last 4 hours!

I know what you are doing but on the realz side having each of those calls going the other way wouldn't have affected the length of game at all

Thanks for the reality check.

I'd like to get back to discussing actual basketball in these threads rather than having a NBA refereeing discussion. If people want to continue that discussion, they can start another thread.

Right now, I can't see a team that's anywhere near as good as Cleveland. I truly believe we can sweep the Warriors/OKC.

Lol no, the cavs are not sweeping the Warriors or OKC. Settle down. We just won game 1 against a team with a 7 man rotation.

Last to sweep into the finals were the 01-02 Lakers. Lue was a backup. I remember that postseason, they were a force. Philly stunned them in game one of the finals then got rekt.

We will win 4 games against a 7-man rotation. The way the Cavs are playing right now, I don't see how any rotation can beat them. Love actually came to play in the playoffs instead of taking a backseat like he did in the regular season. Irving is playing great and the supporting cast is also at another level.

We also have LBJ. Bring on the Warriors!

This just confirms that Lue knows how to win championships. One of the best to play on a team that swept to the Finals and he's our coach.

Don't make 20 idiotic, completely trying too hard troll posts about it then. If you hadn't tiernan' this thread you might be able to sift through it with some enjoyment.

Now back to basketball (I'll even let you get your smug little remark back at me without responding).....I don't think anyone can beat the Cavs in a series as they are now but I have fears of injury and then the Cleveland luck thing. I am not a true Cavs fan but I sure do want to see them win it all.

No chance for OKC IMO.

I'm not fearful of injuries. This is our year. Book it.

Getting ahead of ourselves...but downtown Cleveland the night they clinch would be unreal. The parade the next day may run from Cleveland all the way down 71 to Cinci.

I'm not getting ahead of anyone. I've watched the games; the Cavs are not beatable. Simple as that.

One of the best can also mean one of the worst. Do you not understand the English language?

Everyone is making a huge deal today about how the raptors players were tired and even said so. But they'll now get rested for game 2. I'm not sure how.. game 2 is tomorrow and other than changing the game plan or being able to go deeper into one, they aren't getting any more rest. They also only play about 7 guys, and if the cavs bench keeps playing well, they're gonna continue being tired.

They aren't traveling from Toronto to Cleveland. So I guess you can say they have more rest.

But I agree with you.

GSW's Coach of the Year Kerr disagrees with you. He thinks Golden State can beat anyone, including the Cavs. Good to know you disagree with the Coach of the Year. Tell me more about your basketball credentials and how they are superior to Mr. Kerr!

Except that's equating a comment based on a action in the past with a prediction about an outcome in the future. They aren't similar.

Nice try. 3rd grade logic class might help you.

Actually I am just applying your failed logic that nobody's opinion is credible here unless they are in the utmost position of expertise. In this case it's a NBA coach of the year. Not surprised that went over your head

If you'd like to continue this discussion, please head over to the other thread.

I'd like to keep this thread focused on the issue at hand; and that is Cleveland Cavaliers.

I hope the refs keep making the right calls and don't succumb to lowrys flopping in game 2. Raptors live off the flopping.
