Huge getting shump to sign! This core is locked up for the next 4 years. If we could get ross after dealing Haywood. I will love this team

This. Tho still waiting on lbj. We aren't ship worthy without him. Not counting him in until he is. I've seen him be a pos before, wouldn't surprise me to see him fuck Cleveland again.

I think 40 for 4 seems OK for Shump, but I don't think it would have mattered. Cavs had to retain him at this point. Once Love and TT signed long term there's $100+ million committed to 5 players alone for the next 3 seasons (assuming Lebron keeps opting for 1 year deals until at least 2017 to maximize his $$$). Going to be maxed out even when the cap explodes, so any contributors already on the roster need to be held onto even when looking 3-4 years ahead.

The only way I think he would ever leave is if Gilbert didn't open up his wallet for championships. Gilbert did and Lebron will stay.

Probably a 2 year deal with a player option.

Hopefully something will get done with the Haywood contract today. Haven't heard of any visits that JR has lined up yet either...
