You should have more doubts now that ESPN reported it. Might be able to thank Mike Miller for Love signing the 5 year deal. I guess Miller said something to the effect of "will $20 million (signing 1 year deal) really change your life?" to which Love said "no" to which Miller responded "now will $100 million change your life?" to which Love agreed. Also sounds like Love was concerned with potential injuries and the security this deal brought. Kind of why I wasn't a huge fan of that Haywood deal to SA where the Cavs got Diaw and more in return. Gilbert spending like a fiend. Think it's part of the reason LBJ waited to see what they'd do. Miami's owner is worth almost twice as much as Gilbert and he wasn't willing to go way over the luxury tax.
