Only shot Tribe had tonight was to take it to 15 innings, so Seattle's pitcher got to 100 pitches and had to be taken out.
But, Bauer gives up a 2 Run HR in the bottom of the 6th...which effectively ends this game.

I'm not holding out hope with Marcum. Though, Seattle is the type of team he could baffle.
But a split is very possible and expected, IMO.

Marcum pitched well, giving up only a 2 run dinger to Cano, but Tito pulled him early with the lead. It's good to see them win the one run game, unlike the loss the previous night. It's how you play the close games that determines where you end up in the standings, and that is almost always the difference between an average team and a playoff team.
One thing that does concern me, is how poorly Swisher runs now after his double knee surgeries. He's almost a liability on the base paths...kind of like Victor Martinez ....without the bat.
Let's get the series win this afternoon!
