Unless they have substantiated proof....there should be no penalty.

He will get a full year. It's called cheating. What was the score again in the AFC title game? There's a huge advantage in throwing and catching softer balls in the cold.

Front office suspensions and fines, are routinely higher/longer/more expensive than that of players. The Titans owner was fined 1 Millon for flipping off some fans, where as Johnny Boy was fined a fraction of that.

He won't be suspended nor should he be. People trying to make a big deal out of immaterial shit. Less than 10% underinflated. Get a life.

Kraft/Goodell are butt buddies, so I expect a wrist slap. Also, if the Belichick didn't get suspended after spygate (100x worse than deflating balls), then I doubt anything comes out of this.

First game of the year for New England is Thursday night hosting the Steelers and second is in Buffalo to visit Rex Ryan. Third game however is hosting Jacksonville so expect him to be suspended from that game.

Comparing this to baseball, I would say it's not even as bad as "corking" a bat. It's not like he was using a "nitrogen" inflated ball instead of traditional air, or whatever you could possibly do to alter the ball.

It's the same as using a "preferred" bat, but since it's against the rules, it's wrong. But it's not tainting him in my opinion.


What's hilarious is a news anchor was reviewing "deflated" balls and he made a comment "this ball is rock hard" and the guy goes "yeah that's the deflated ball to Tom Brady's Liking"
