second degree assault with an escape charge meant he resisted arrest and got away. That's not a violent crime.
Point out 1st degree felonious assault chargers and I'll agree with you there.

1st degree is serious harm or intent to harm or damage. You can resist arrest and get charged with second degree assault if you touched the cop. What are you missing here?SportsAndLady;1724660 wrote:Lol so its first degree felonious acts or you're a good boy. Got it..

It doesn't justify his death but the reality is if you keep running into the cops eventually they may have to use lethal force. Again, we aren't even to the point where we have all the facts in this case but people are already championing their narrative of "WHITE RACIST COPS KILLS SWEET BABY ANGEL BLACK MAN FOR NO REASON!12!".ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724638 wrote:Cool. So a bunch of drug offenses. No violent crimes. And you justify his death that way. I know I can always count on you for that lol.
Sadly, this is how society is now thanks to race baiting liberals.

No ones justifying their actions. It doesnt change the fact it's a small minority compared to the protestors. That the point in its entirety. What theyre doing is criminal and is wrong. What the protestors are doing is right and just.like_that;1724666 wrote:Nearly 200 arrests, 144 vehicle fires and 15 structure fires during Baltimore unrest, mayor's office says. I'm hoping if I keep pounding it into your little brain, it might sink in one day that people being abused by police authority isn't right and needs changed. The fact that you seem to think that everyone who was killed is a criminal and deserves to die makes me think your little brain doesn't have the capacity to accept that thoughsleeper;1724686 wrote:And what are you doing to help solve this alleged problem? Yeah and I don't think people looting, robbery, and assault is right either. Your point?ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724694 wrote:I'm hoping if I keep pounding it into your little brain, it might sink in one day that people being abused by police authority isn't right and needs changed. It's not a liberal position that police abusing their power is wrong; EVERYONE AGREES. We disagree in the solutions(if any) and the way to enact chance. Apparently, liberals thinks its okay to rob, steal, destroy to enact chance where I think change is best enacted through the legal process and peaceful protesting.

Mute ...the voices of the peaceful and justified protestor are silence but the violence of looting is the focus of the media.Uz2Bon36;1724584 wrote:moot.
Arrest 20 of the looters, they will be clueless of the issue, reason and facts of the Freddie Gray, all those arrested know is this is a opportunity to steal for profit, destroy from hate and disobedience to authority. The possession of others, the right of others and the fact mean nothing.
I’ve had dealing with commercial property insurance of one of my business. Many insurance companies no longer provide riot or looting insurance with standard policy coverage and if you’re located in some area they will not write a contract. Those of you OC in the insurance business, please correct me if I’m wrong.
In the future communities will have their own “street protection armed vigilantes” then the punishment for looting, out of control rioting will be legal justified bloodshed.
That is what happening in areas like Detroit, Fla., LA and now suggested for Ferguson, Baltimore. Coming to a community near you…
Interesting fact: Justice System breaking /entering, stealing, destruction of property can be a first degree felon up to 2 to 8 years.
Looting which is the same criminal action is classified as a fifth or fourth degree felon a max of 2 years. ……….. Let just make looting and rioting a first degree felon punishment of 7 to 8 years end of story.

That is definitely not true seeing as your position is always they were criminals and deserved to die anyways.sleeper;1724697 wrote:It's not a liberal position that police abusing their power is wrong; EVERYONE AGREES. Typical. They don't deserve to die but its hard to feel sympathy for criminals who don't obey the law or respect authority complain when they eventually get a fatal wound. Perhaps if they just obeyed the law, something they can control entirely, they would still be alive today. That's the problem with this narrative, it completely removes an individuals responsibility from the equation and places the blame on people who are mostly good natured. Keep pushing this narrative and more people will die.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724699 wrote:That is definitely not true seeing as your position is always they were criminals and deserved to die anyways.

I'm sure this has been said but the mayor of this cesspool is an idiot, encouraging the looting/rioting.

Here's a question, why is there no riots/protests going on in South Carolina?

So you're saying the justice system works. Because he probably pleaded out of most of those.. that's how it works 75% of the time when they aren't serious crimes.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724649 wrote:I like how they're reporting Freddie's arrest record and not conviction record. Zwick says these people are a small minority and everyone is supposed to believe it, but when others say police brutality is a small minority, they're wrong. Makes sense.

Yeah it absolutely works most of the time. There's always those technicalities though.

No I'm agreeing with you that its a minority of cops who do it. I'm also saying its not right and needs changed. Just like I'm saying it's not right what rioters are doing. However.. most don't care if cops abuse people b/c they see them as criminals and less than us. That's where we disagree.

And it likely worked in his cases, doesn't mean he's not a criminal and couldn't have spent time in prison.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724708 wrote:Yeah it absolutely works most of the time. There's always those technicalities though.
Also doesn't mean he should die...
Police should be punished just like everyone else if they go too far and kill or harm someone.
They also save lives everyday and 99% of the time get it right. There is no way to completely rid these situations. No amount of training or prep will stop it. Mistakes happen, bad people become cops, humans make human mistakes. It's unfortunate.
Just don't understand these riots. Why don't they riot the killing of each other going on every day in major cities. It's not OK for anyone to kill anyone.

Probably b/c police have authority over us and are supposed to be someone we can trust, and they don't feel like they can trust them after years of experience telling the otherwise?Midstate01;1724714 wrote:And it likely worked in his cases, doesn't mean he's not a criminal and couldn't have spent time in prison.
