Not really an Eater "fan" but I do like the pickled beets & eggs. I really do not like ham on Easter.

Can't stand pickled eggs...one of the few foods that I won't eat.

Ham....I love it.

One thing I miss, is the egg and cheese bread that my Grandmother made. I think she called it piegach or something like that.

When I buy it I am. I'm pretty particular about my ham. Most of the time, the places I go for Easter serve some crappy/cheap/white trash ham. I have bought the ham on a few occasions but I'm not doing it every year. I guess if you were to categorize me as a "snob", ham would be one thing I'm a snob about.

Somehow, I don't think a "ham snob" thread would do well on here. :D

Hate ham. But, love Roast Beef, which seems to be making inroads as another option on Easter. Also love Lamb.

Dont really care for all the hard-boiled eggs, but will eat a few.

Love chocolate, so this is a horrible holiday for my health. Also love Peeps (in the minority I know) and Jelly Bellys (though, like everyone, I sort through and throw away the shitty flavors).

My girlfriend made Easter baskets for the grandkids and gave them Peeps. I said "why are you punishing those poor kids with Peeps? Don't you know they are the "fruitcake" of the Easter season?"

Good call on the fruitcake comparison

Ham, cheesy potatoes, Brussels sprouts, Caesar salad.

I love pickled eggs and plain hard boiled eggs all year round.

It is if they both gross you out.

Cashed in on some take home/leftover pickled eggs from my girlfriend's mom's place.

Yes, and they are gross, but if you're talking about giving them to kids it isn't comparable. I don't think there's a kid in the world under 10 who doesn't like them.

I'll eat Peeps, but only if they are stale. My favorite Easter candies are Reese Eggs and Sweet Tart Chicks, Ducks and Bunnies. My mom makes GOAT Easter baskets.

As for real food, we have started going to a brunch buffet. There is something for everyone. I like ham, but I also like turkey, prime rib, etc.

Love boiled eggs. Had two this morning, and my daughter flipped out. I said, "What do you want me to do with them?" She continued to freak out, so I said, "I can eat every damn egg in there, if I want to! Chill out!"

Peeps are okay. I'll eat them, but they're certainly not high on my candy priority list.

They had ham and roast beef yesterday at my in-laws Easter. It was nice to have the option.
