Providence isn't unbeatable. And Dayton was just in the elite eight.

I hate the fatigue arguments. They aren't running marathons...18-22 yr old college athletes should be able to fully recover in 48 hours. They play about every other night in the NBA.

NBA teams bitch about playing that often and fatigue too

2 years in a row the play-in team won their "second" round game.

That's happened every year of the first four. Starting with VCU making the final 4 in 2011.

It was Dayton's 5th game in 8 days and their starters play almost the entire game, so I believe the fatigue argument is valid for them.

Thanks. Was trying to look that up. Like I said, "fatigue" is bullshit. Of course overpaid NBA millionaires want to play less games.

Need to file this one away. Stronger pick than even a 12 over a 5. Providence was one of my darkhorses....why I do 2 brackets.

They have about 48 hours between each game. So, no, I don't think it's valid. Watch the Tour de France. There's no question that elite athletes can recover in under 48 hours. Football is different because of the physical beating.

I'd say 95%. It doesn't appear that any jobs at top level programs will be opening up. He won't be leaving for a low to mid level power conference program.

Anyway, I still have 14/15 of my S16 and all my E8 (except Providence in 1)....if UCLA wins I could be counting money again (but I'll need these underdogs to go home).

Not the sort of year I've done well. Got a lot of chalk left and I'm behind, so not much margin for error. I could be dead tomorrow, but will probably limp into next Thursday with a longshot.

NHL players play every other day for two months if they win a Stanley Cup and I can guarantee hockey is bit more draining. These kids when they were in AAU probably played a few games a day as well

It's no secret that basketball players are whiny bitches compared to the others

At the same time, AAU is everything that is wrong with basketball in about every aspect as it is, so I can see where it could burn them out early.

Yesterday was better. 15/16 winners (Buffalo being the loser for me) is nicer than 9-16 where you lose a finalist, lol.

My bracket still sucks, but in the short term, I'm in contention!

I was at all of the C-Bus games yesterday. LaDontae Henton's game was one of the worst I've ever seen. Dayton is a great story. They are playing with house money. I don't want to say they are going to get smoked by Oklahoma (as you see that worked great with PC), but I wouldn't be shocked. The good news is, UD Arena East had about 16K Flyer fans last night. Oklahoma brought maybe 750.

The worst thing about moving on to the second round is no other games to switch to at halftime and having to listen to these clowns.

The game schedule on these 2 days is awful. There will be 3/4 games on at a time later on...yet they put this stand alone game at noon and it's just a commercial fest.
