This news make me happy. Good to see a couple solid moves. I'm interested to see what direction they go in with the quarterback situatiuon that we have.

So what do you think the next move is going to be? Another signing/Sims? or a trade(QB)? I think any other moves are done for today, maybe during the day tomorrow something's going to happen.

The prominent "mystery" RFA is supposedly in town or will be tomorrow. That could be the next move.

They were hot on the trail of Sims, supposedly, but that talk has cooled down.

Who are the restricted FA's they were after? Is Thomas Jones still a thought or not? I don't think he's be a bad complimentary back to Harrison...but we'll see.

Somebody left the cellar door open and Cleveland crawled up the steps and picked the scraps off the floor after everyone else was done eating. hahaha LOL.
I guess for Cleveland you can call them ''good signings''.

Yeah, Cleveland just signed the starting LB on the defending Super Bowl champions. A player that the Saints thought wouldn't leave because of his strong ties to NO.

Nice try.

As per the history of Pittsburgh, they dont rely on other teams hand-me-downs to often. But if a player is out there that fits their needs, they may sign one or two.

Hand me downs? Like I said the Saints didn't think he would leave, they still wanted him as their STARTING LB.

Nice try troll.

these guys aren't superstars but they're more than adequate and can fill a need for a couple years.

Fujita isn't much of a pass rusher so he probably won't be a 3-4 outside linebacker.

4-3 outside linebacker or 3-4 inside linebacker

Funny how it went from "nobody would sign with Cleveland" to "Somebody left the cellar door open and Cleveland crawled up the steps and picked the scraps off the floor." Someone better slip on the Michael Jackson glove because I see A LOT of "moon walking/ backpedaling" to try to save face. Your ignorance knows no bounds.

And this is why I could see this signaling the end for D'Qwell Jackson if someone signs him to an offer sheet.

^^^ Almost hate to see him go, but for a 2nd or some other sort of trade, it's a no brainer.

Why would anyone care what an inbred says about Cleveland's signings?

These are two solid additions to the roster. Just the kind of guys you want on your team: tough, hard-working and team oriented.

Seems to me, Mangini did very well with this type of player the last half of the season.

The key areas to shore up remain at CB/S and QB, with the possibility of adding a veteran WR -- all or any of which could happen via trade, too.

I think we'll see Holmgren and company try to add at least solid players at each of those slots before the draft so that Cleveland can pick & choose what it is doing, and not be too wedded to a particular position.

Going off of BR's timeline, the chance of getting McNabb is dwindling.

For some reason I don't see Cleveland pulling off the McNabb move, but maybe a few more moves that includes a trade(s)/signings then wait til the draft and see what Holmgen/Heckert want to do.
