Can't believe the Ravens are 1-6. Especially with so many experts picking them to win the division and perhaps make the super bowl.

The only thing that could possibly be sweeter is if the Steelers were 0-7. I, for one, am not shedding any tears over the thieving bastards from Baltiwhore being bottom feeders.friendfromlowry;1759247 wrote:Can't believe the Ravens are 1-6. That's exactly why they do it. The defense is expecting either a short run or a short pass so they'll play "up" and take the bite on a double move deep.friendfromlowry;1759197 wrote:I'll never, ever understand why teams throw long on third and short.

I realize the strategy behind it and you're hoping to take advantage of an unsuspecting defense. I guess I'd rather run or throw the quick pass to get the first down than throw a long, low-percentage pass and have to punt.sleeper;1759282 wrote:That's exactly why they do it. Agreed. I'd think you'd have a higher percentage throwing deep on 2 & 1, when you have nothing to lose, than 3rd & 1.friendfromlowry;1759304 wrote:I realize the strategy behind it and you're hoping to take advantage of an unsuspecting defense. from Wikipedia:
Ryan Mallett (born "Douche McAllister" on June 5, 1988) is an unemployed American football quarterback who is currently a free agent ala Randy Moss (who is also unemployable). He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft but failed miserably with that team before he was essentially fired. He played college football at Arkansas which will turn out to be the highlight of his life when he drunkenly bores someone to death at a bar somewhere in Chanute, Kansas at 3am in 2036 endlessly blathering about how he threw some forgotten meaningless touchdown in high school. On October 27, 2015, he was released from the Houston Texans which he will no doubt be surprised as hell to learn once he awakens from his drunken stupor. Mallett has since been in talks to replace Dee Snider as the lead singer of the 80's hair metal band "Twisted Sister" where he will reportedly perform in a bear suit complete with extra fuzzy paws. Mallett has reportedly insisted that only super dense fuzzy paws "allow the metal to fully be broughten."

I don't think either of those teams sign him. I could see the Bills signing him though.Azubuike24;1759360 wrote:Haha.

NE got hosed on the non PI call. Hit receiver in face mask and pulled his arm as ball is still 10 feet away. Terrible

NE gets called for illegal block away from ball (legit but was pretty slight) and then illegal lineman downfield and it was just a meaningless looking play by the tackle....and again away from the ball.
No clue how they see those but not the PI that would've been a 15 yard penalty had the receiver had the ball
