I usually wander over there whenever it's brought up here. Whatever forum I looked at had about four threads that had activity all day, all by the same guy.

That actually was over there, the stigma just followed me over here. I haven't "tried" to kill myself in 6 years; or thought about it in the last 2 days.

HS Football forums were pretty busy during the season. I presume a lot of people who use it are like me....use it for 15 weeks in the fall only.

The Sports Trivia forum I've looked at very rarely, and it's always dead.

Yappi is the busiest by far at football time now IMO. Unfortunately it's a bunch of whiny Cincinnati guys. But come playoff time they had the best info for HSFB

I joined JJ around 2001 while I was a sophomore in High School to talk High School Basketball, found this place shortly after it started up but didn't join for a while for some reason.

I was in college at the time (while coaching wrestling at the junior high level) and had access to a computer. I began reading about area and state high school wrestling info. After I got his password, I began posting fulltime under cruiser_94. I have to think I amassed over 5,000 posts. But, in the end, the $12/year thing did me in.

At the time JJ was melting, two sites came up - freehuddle and ohhuddle. I tried both. The latter seemed a bit confrontational. A whole lot of trash talk. I'm not sure if that was a ploy to build numbers or what, but as people left JJ, most found themselves here. So, I be here.

The main problem with ohhuddle was mainly how the guy running it had no people skills and was a dolt to the most hilarious proportions.
