Washing dishes by hand is BY FAR my least favorite chore. I refuse to do it.

Yeah you can definitely wash/dry dishes faster than a dishwasher but it only takes like 30 seconds to put them all in... My shitty dishwasher at our apartment normally takes like 45 minutes to complete it's cycle and I'm never in a hurry that I need them to get done fast anyway.

As for washing your clothes. I bet you could definitely wash them faster than a washing machine... now drying them would definitely take longer.

I used to be like this, but since living without a dishwasher for 3 yrs I don't mind it now. Sometimes I like it, esp if we're entertaining because I can get away from the party for a few minutes. Almost like a smoke break.

It really is a simple task and for whatever reason takes the in laws by surprise that I do it.

The "war on christmas" people are the worst kind of politard. You get the idea they enter the holiday season just hoping to be "offended", so they can bring their own special blend of self-righteousness and general ignorance of history to the mix.

I don't count the time the dish washer is doing its thing, because it is not "my" time. The only time I need to spend is loading and unloading, which in total is still quicker than washing/drying by hand.

This might have been mentioned, but a big one of mine is when people add an S to the end of a word that it doesn't belong on.

"I'm going to Krogers." No you aren't. You're going to Kroger.

Very common down this way. Similarly,

"Where's Joe?"

"He's still in the bed"

Black friends do that all the time. Specifically with the word mom. "Moms is coming into town this weekend." I've asked why, and there is no good answer.

Not to mention 'axe' instead of 'ask'.

Might as well name their kid "Threeve" or "1th."

Not trying to turn this into a religious battle, but I'm going to add people who can't understand why a business would want their employees to say happy holidays, why religious symbols don't belong in schools or on public buildings and also can't understand why it's ok for Muslims to pray in public in the US.
