I am surprised at the discourse that JFF is a better teammate than Hoyer.

Did the ego of JFF really want help? I doubt it. He wasn't willing to help himself, let alone seek help from someone else.

Opposite opinions doesn't equal right. For example, someone thinks Hoyer is a bum and the other thinks he's a HoFer. They're both wrong in that scenario. Nice fail little guy. Good effort though!

But you're either a prima donna or you aren't. So nice attempt at covering up dip shit.

No, not true. You can be a certain level of a prima donna. Or is Braylon/Mike Wallace/TO/Joe Horn/Chad Johnson on the same level as Dion Sanders/Michael Irvin for you? I'd say you can rank them on their prima donna-ness. Nice fail dipshit.

Is Sherman our OC? I'm not sure I fully understand the connection.

I hope we get hartline. Should be fairly cheap and is a good #2. Get our 1 in the draft round 1

I am now changing my mind on going after Foles. Can't see it. Was there a big demand for Mc36 that they needed to sign him so early? Can't see them bring in Foles after Mc36's contract and JFF on the roster. Unless I am missing something.

Foles is still under a rookie scale contract, and I believe he was a 3rd rounder. So he wouldn't be making much, and it wouldn't hurt to bring him in. Especially if he's as good as advertised.

Thoughts on trading for Brandon Marshall?

Reports are would only cost mid-late round draft pick.

If he wouldn't be a polarizing turd, I'd say go for it. However, I have a feeling that he wouldn't conduct himself like a good teammate in Cleveland.

I know as Browns fans we're programmed to expect the very worst, but I would take Marshall for a mid/late round draft pick any day. Plus McCown is familiar with him.

just domestic violence in his past, no reported drug use, so should be safe from suspension unlike Gordon.

McCown is garbage and wont be our QB come week 8. I don't want to make long term personel decisions on a 36 yr garbage man who will be out of the league in the 2016 season.

Marshall is on the wrong side of 30, a complete headcase, and has a cap hit of almost $10 mil. I'll pass.

McCown has a better chance being QB in week 8 than week 1.

I wasn't saying the Browns would go after foles, I am just saying If I were GM I would make an attempt for him, especially since the eagles seem to be doing whatever they can do to get Mariotta. Highly doubt Mccowns contract would be the one thing preventing the team from getting Foles.

If I didn't see who posted these type of posts, I could swear I am reading sleeper's posts.

As for Marshall, no thanks. The dude has been on 3 teams now going on 4. The only journey man that seems to work out in the NFL is Revis, and that is more because he is a mercenary trying to make the most money possible.

McCown career QB Rating - 76

He's played more than 9 games twice in his 10 yr career. If he's our starting QB, come week 8/9 when the browns are 2-6 or 2-7 we're going to bench him for who ever we have behind him. He sucks, might be the worst QB in the league.

I did say they should try to three team with Phily moving up for Mariotta and get Foles a long time ago , now I'm cooled on that it could occur.
