Sometimes makes me think that with all of the traditionalist "OMG....we can't change" people that the organization is too gunshy to do something truly creative or outside the box. This hoopla was a whole lot of talk about essentially nothing.

All improvements, but so small it wasn't worth even announcing lol.

The Panthers made similar changes in 2012 but with little hype prior and they just released it. No one really made a big deal but the fan base is far less dedicated plus the media doesn't seem as quick to try and hype any news from the team.

I wonder if the Cleveland media/fans made a bigger deal of this than the team.

Excited to see the new uni's. I wonder if the highlighter orange is a lead in to an Oregon type feel to the jersey.

I like the new brighter orange. Really like the dog. Not sure a big deal needed made over it, but it's the browns...

I agree with this. I think the dog looks stupid as hell.

If he can stay on the field then he is worth the money. Heck, even if he just misses a couple of games it is worth it with the amount of space they have.
Thing is though guys like him tend to drop quickly from the ranks.

As it states, could be more about how he would fit into the new scheme apparently.

I don't want to get rid of Desmond Bryant, he always seemed to play well, when I watched. Am I wrong?

You mean Phil Fucking Taylor? Both will be here IMO. Don't get better by cutting good dline players.

No, I meant Bryant. The article also says theyre gonna cut Bryant. He always seemed to get sacks in the game I played.

"
The Cleveland Browns front office is considering releasing defensive lineman Phil Taylor in lieu of another player. If the Browns want to maximize their savings on his contract, they will have to release him prior to June 1.
In four seasons, Taylor has missed 20 football games - an average of five per season. He has missed at least one game in every season since his rookie year. In his 44 career games, Taylor has accumulated 109 tackles and 7 sacks.
The Baylor product counted in excess of $2.5 million against the cap last season. If the Browns release Taylor between now and the first of June, they will save the total amount of his deal in 2015 - $5,,477,000. If the Browns do choose to move on from Taylor, it will be a decision based on talent and a schematic fit.
The Browns have the second most available cap room according to Spotrac.com at $49,914,276. However, if you believe owner Jimmy Haslam, the Browns are not in the market to spend much this off-season.
Cleveland selected the defensive tackle No. 21 in 2011 after trading down on a few occasions. At the time, he was considered a reach. He has flashed ability during his time in Ohio but, sometimes, availability is the best ability. "

No where do I see Bryant mentioned.

Don't buy it. That site is trying to agrue that they "MAY" be asked to restructure to go after Suh and Hughes. That's some BSPN like speculation there. Personally I dont see either FA hitting the market. Bryant and PT aren't going anywhere.

He played well IMO. Same with PT. Problem with PT last season, outside of the bengals game they weren't playing him at NT, which is FUCKING stupid.

This is the just dilfer/garcia/failhomme all over again except this guy wasn't ever even decent. Give me Hoyer over this bum.

I'd be in favor of trading for Glennon though, he's our best realistic option at QB IMO.

Realistic QB rankings:

1. Glennon
2. Mallet
3. Hoyer

Outside of that I'll probably want to throw up when watching our offensive passing game. Fuck I hope we can smash mouth football this yr.

Glennon blows. I'd rather stick with Hoyer.

That's why I'd rather just sign someone like Sanchez to a 1 year deal, build the fuck out of the defense & O-Lines and hope to win ugly until a legit QB becomes available in the draft. I really don't want them to waste a draft pick on someone like Glennon or even Bradford.
