I know its dawgs by nature, but this guy is pretty much spot on. La Confora and Shanny can both go fuck themselves. If you don't want to read the whole thing, just read the last paragraph.

That was essentially a summation of what the non doom-and-gloom people on here have been saying. Thanks for posting. I know I'm not alone in that I'm definitely optimistic about our future with Farmer and Pettine.

I'll flip my lid if the Browns take Funchess. He's a less talented version of Braylon Edwards.

A familiar name is mentioned at the beginning of the video. Let's pretend Farmer is shitty GM though, SMH.

Thoughts if we were to trade up?
What would it take both firsts this year and next year?

Until someone actually builds a team that wins, I'm not going to pretend they are any good. I think Farmer deserves some time to right the ship, but that time is not without bounds.Let's pretend Farmer is shitty GM though, SMH.

It would take that plus. Also, not sure why TB or Titans would do the deal. Just media BS trying to get clicks. Not going to happen.shook_17;1704735 wrote:http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000469729/article/cleveland-browns-zeroing-in-on-marcus-mariota

If you're the browns and have Mike Glennon as your starting QB, you giving up the opportunity to draft a stud QB for 2 1sts? Would colts give up ability to draft Andrew Luck? Put yourself in their shoes. I would lol at the browns for even offering 2 1st this year in a down draft for the #1 pick.

From 12 to 1, would take at a minimum, more the Rams got for RG3, who got 3 #1s, and 1 #2.shook_17;1704735 wrote:http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000469729/article/cleveland-browns-zeroing-in-on-marcus-mariota

So, I'd have to imagine would take 4 #1s, and 3rd or 4th pick.
In other words.....HELL NO

So no, the Colts wouldn't do that, but the Buccanneers who may not be sold on either QB.....getting 2 #1s might be solid to build the depth, and if QB play still blows, will be near the top next year as well.

If they trade to 1, take Winston. I haven't seen anything that makes me think Marriota will be good.

Agreed. Plus Winston and Manzel will get along like peas and carrots.....Laley23;1704796 wrote:If they trade to 1, take Winston. I haven't seen anything that makes me think Marriota will be good.
Not sure though I would give up much to get Winston. I know they say he is the most NFL ready but I am not so sure he will be taht good. Seems to turn the ball over way too much.

we need players at multiple positions....please don't trade picks to "move up" on what's available in this draft.

Mariota is so much better than Winston it's crazy. Sorry but Jameis threw more interceptions on passes 15+ yards than any other BCS conference QB. The guy had 25 TD's and 18 INT's this season for christ sakeLaley23;1704796 wrote:If they trade to 1, take Winston. I haven't seen anything that makes me think Marriota will be good.

True. But Winston also was allowed to audible and ran an offense that at least sets up him to understand an NFL system. Mariota didn't audible, ran plays that were done by hand signal or key words, he will be need time to understand how to stand and read defenses and be able to audible and understand lingo.

Don't have to. I watched enough football this year and Winston was awful against any D worth a damn. Gators secondary pretty much had an interception party against him. He may be more ready because of the offense he ran but give me Mariota all dayAutomatik;1705070 wrote:You couldn't be more wrong.

What did Mariota do against the only defense he played last year?Classyposter58;1705116 wrote:Don't have to. I watched enough football this year and Winston was awful against any D worth a damn.
