Anyone have a clue how this game, between 2 AFC teams, is on FOX this weekend? Will it be with CBS announcers just being aired by FOX 28 in Columbus?

This team is still in the playoff hunt and the bald headed cocksucker decides to play the 27th ranked quarterback in the league. The Cleveland poll had over 70% of fans calling for Manziel to start over Hoyer. They need to shut off beer sales by the end of the first quarter or else it's gonna get real ugly.

This team had a great chance of making the playoffs with Manziel. They have absolutely no chance by playing the POS going Sunday.

Games can be flexed across networks with the new tv deal. The Browns/Bengals game the following Sunday has also been flexed to Fox.

They were leading the AFC in rushing up until Mack's injury. Pretty much says a lot of what we need to know. I think they are 12th now, which is respectable, but they aren't, as some like to say, "pwning" up front anymore.

Beginning in 2014, the NFL will also be able to "cross-flex" games between Fox and CBS, enabling CBS to televise NFC away games (including NFC vs. NFC contests), and Fox to broadcast AFC away games (including AFC vs. AFC contests).[SUP][31][/SUP][SUP][32][/SUP] The league can also "cross-flex" some of these games before the start of the season.

Good info. Did not know that! I didnt read the article but I am assuming the networks can protect games like they do with games flexed to SNF?

The image that has stayed with me from the Buffalo game is Manziel laying motionless on the field while Bills players are recovering his fumble in the end zone.

That was the first reason I heard as to why it was Hoyer. Players overwhelmingly wanted Hoyer.

Yeah, on the flip side they prepare mostly for Hoyer and then Hoyer sucks for 3 drives and you bring in Manziel in the early/mid 2nd qtr.

You do have to prepare for both, that is true.

But they are professionals, and they have to have something in place for when they go against teams with a mobile QB.

Hoyer is awful but I can't say I'm surprised by the decision. I expect it to be close early but we will end up losing by 2 tds. Field goals aren't going to be good enough.

That....is a load of shit. What are they supposed to say, dimlid? Also, Pettine lied through his teeth claiming that the "whole staff" was behind this decision. That is bullshit. No, this call lays firmly on the stubborn, bull headed, throw-in-the-season head coach. His allegiance to the 27th rated quarterback vs. trying to win a playoff spot is disgusting.
