Apparently there wasnt a positive test, and that he confessed his problem to MLB. They are suspecting he would be treated as a first time offender since his other suspension was when he was not on a ML roster.
Have to give him props for owning up to it, confessing and trying to get himself right instead of trying to make excuses .

Honestly....as a huge fan of baseball I'd like to see him return and be an all-star level player, but realistically I hope he sees the age of 50 and is happy.thavoice;1708494 wrote:Apparently there wasnt a positive test, and that he confessed his problem to MLB. Announcers talking about where he hit them in BP and an oppo HR foul, ridiculous pull HR foul and then a bang bang play at first for a fast guy.....everything he did just seemed legendary

Vegas playoff odds from last year and this year. Lots of parity.

This dude just seems awesome. Since I'm not a fan of and AL club I really hope he gets the last rotation spot for the Blue Jays and does well.

Saw that and it was pretty cool! That, unlike Watts cabin, truly is minimalistic!Iliketurtles;1710581 wrote:This dude just seems awesome. Since I'm not a fan of and AL club I really hope he gets the last rotation spot for the Blue Jays and does well.

Hi guys. Why haven't you all discussed the 2015 AL West/World Series Champion Seattle Mariners yet

Not to mention, Verlander now has room to be great again since Scherzer is gone. Didn't like being second fiddle.SportsAndLady;1710968 wrote:No one is touching the Tigers. Have you seen that lineup?

What is going on down in Miami! As a Marlins fan I am loving this. About time we try and keep are great young players. First Stanton now Yelich!

Cubs send down their two young studs. Must be down for at least 12 days I believe once the season starts to gain that extra year of control over them. Union and fans not so happy about it.
Kinda shitty since they should be up.
but I am thinking in a few years when the Cubs have an extra year before having to possibly pay out the wazu for them that many fans will be grateful for this.

It's a no brainer for me if I am the gm. People are acting like it will be for half a season.thavoice;1718275 wrote:Cubs send down their two young studs. Agreed. Why a fan would want to lose a player a year early because of 3 weeks or maybe a month of having him, in his rookie year when he'll probably be the least valuable, makes no sense.like_that;1718303 wrote:It's a no brainer for me if I am the gm. Rules are dumb....GM had no choice, but it is ridiculous.
