I want to see Manziel, in certain circumstances (i.e. red zone situations) but some of the JFF teabaggers are comical with their arguments. Shanahan is awesome, no doubt about it.

However, the ticky tack "you can't look at a WR too hard" NFL that DBs play in this season is part of the reason WRs are so wide open. That is not just the Browns WRs that are this wide open, watch games around the league. People are saying Gilbert and Haden have been bad, but watch around the league. Compared to other CBs those two are covering freaking amazing with the new rule "emphasis".

Passing yards/game is up by nearly 15 yards (total both teams) since just last season.

My argument is pretty simple to understand. Listen up this time. A scrambling quarterback does NOT necessarily EQUATE to a running quarterback. Steve Young was good at both. Until Manziel proves he is anything in the NFL, you can't say anything about him. He looked like shit in preseason, and that was against 3rd stringers. Also, we are 7-4. We are winning this year.
