My mom and mother-in-law are both bugging me to get them a list and I'm having a hard time coming up with anything. Mostly gift cards for Field & Stream and REI for future purchases. What is everyone asking for for Christmas?

What I want is an Xbox One. But my fiancée and I aren't getting any gifts because we're going to have to pay a buttload for travel for interviews in the spring.

Getting my son an Xbox 1. Also got him and I tickets to the Bengals-Broncos Monday night game. Add in the new 65 inch Samsung I'm picking up in two weeks and I'm covered for Christmas.

I don't want anything. As mentioned above, if I want something, I get it. My son is having a damn good Christmas too though. I missed 3 months of work last year due to knee surgery, so his Christmas was pretty lackluster. Making up for it this gear though. A new custom built gaming PC, a Note 3 (he has the S2 right now), GoPro, some 360 games (he doesn't want the Xbox One), and a new airsoft gun.

My mom asks for lists from all seven kids. My oldest brother is 34 and he makes her one.

Nothing for me and the wife. Our Christmas will be a date night where we go and try to scalp some tickets to Counting Crows. Way over priced right now (like $75 per), so we're going to take $100. We get tix, great. We don't, then night on the town!

Closing on a home right after Christmas so really just gift cards/money to put towards things for that. I would like a drill right off the bat as it'd come useful as we move out of our current rental.

My Mom is the same way and wants to get me gifts versus gift cards (only child issues) so I am just telling her other things I don't feel like spending my own money on. Dress pants for work and some button down shirts. Typically use the holidays to turn over the oldest portion of my wardrobe. Other than that nothing really, wouldn't mind getting a tablet but that's not on the priority list over money/gift cards to go towards the new house.

Yeah, this is why I always end up having trouble coming up with ideas to give to people.
