I had a pair, and they weren't bad. They were comfortable, but didn't last long at all. Of course, I work in a shitty environment, but Red Wings hold up twice as long as these did. I'd say go for it.

How was the traction?

I don't need them to stand up to constant abuse (I work in an office) but I don't want to be afraid to wear them when I'm getting into some shit every once in a while.

That was actually another big reason I didn't get another pair. The floors where I work are oily and you need a good non slip sole. They just didn't cut it when it came to that.

I wouldn't do it as a work boot....if you like the looks and want to wear them for style every now and then...go for it. If you need performance I'd go Rocky for sure.

Went ahead and ordered a pair on amazon. Pretty low risk since their return policy is so good.
