Thats fantastic. You know he was amped to be going to LA and as much as we hate on them, they will at least try to win. It probably had to do with Sam Hinkle greeting him by saying, "Congrats for being the newest 6er. Its also possible that Denver, Boston and Philadelphia hold 11 of the 30 First round picks next year.

Unfortunately for Philly, outside of maybe 3 or 4 prospects, next year's draft is very shaky. The 2017 NBA Draft is projected to be very strong.

Fortunately for Philly, Okafor is a good player. I would write off their other 2 prospects though in Embiid and Noel. Embiid, who knows. He's got more upside than Noel, but he hasn't played a game.
Noel, he's always going to be a solid role player. Not sure why you say he's unhealthy? He played 75 games last year and looks 100% recovered from the torn ACL.
Noel and Okafor actually compliment each other pretty well.

He postponed his meeting with LA after the Bulls offer. My guess is that he stays in Chicago.

I'd agree. That's his flaw. Makes you wonder why he's been "linked" to about 25% of NBA teams already though? Every off-season it's the same. The only skill I think he has that isn't that common is, he relates to players. You can see why some of these coaches have no inkling at all about what current players are/go through. Someone like George Karl, for instance. In the end, this only goes so far. You gotta be able to actually coach too...

...and there are 2 players I'd potentially leave to coach. LeBron James and Anthony Davis. He turned down both...that says a lot.
