The point is you live in a fucking fantasy world when it comes to the NBA. You either don't watch and go by narratives or you do watch and you have no ability to appreciate what your eyeballs are seeing.

There is a major distinction between being wrong and being clueless. Even copping to the former doesn't excuse the latter. And the majority of your posts are in the latter category. See HighRoller's post from the past hour showing that your TT take is you speaking out of your ass

That was one game, the majority of that series he got scored on all the time on switches. He also had to switch in the first place because he wasn't good enough to hedge and get back. You have a very disrespectful tone to you.

There's nothing clueless about me saying that Harden is a poor defender, or that David Lee has been underrated. You may not agree with it and that's fine, but that doesn't make it clueless.

That's not what I'm trying to say likethat, just saying he's not good in space the majority of the time, you can't expect him to consistently stop someone like Curry if he gets switched. The key is to not have to switch in the first place. I respect TT, he plays his ass off and gets the most out of what he can do.

Can any PF stay with any guard all the time in the pick and roll? Jesus Christ, there is literally no player in the league, regardless of position, that can stay with every guard, every time.

Also, switching on the PnR is more often than not a coaching decision, and not a fault of the player.

I don't get involved in these pissing matches here, but come on.

No, the point is to not have to switch. You think the Cavs wanted to switch TT on Curry all the time? Hell no, but they were forced to because he can't rotate properly, which is the point.

I've admitted being wrong before man, and I will if I feel I am. I was wrong about Anthony Davis big time, but I don't feel I'm off base with saying that Harden is a sub par defender, or that David Lee is underrated mostly, things like that. LHS seems like an alright dude, it's just almost too much with him having to be the constant know it all, his arrogance is appalling at times and I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. His constant need to try and one up someone or fix something is mind blowing, might be something more to that.

When the player immediately jumps out to guard the ball handler, that's 100% playcall. If the defender is late getting there, or reacting than most likely it was because they didn't rotate properly.

It was well discussed during the finals that the Cavs did not want to risk leaving Curry wide open on a failed switch, or if Delly got screened off. Which is why you saw TT immediately show on Curry and make sure a defender was in his face the entire time.

Rob it's called being a lawyer. I work in a zero sum field where you're either right or wrong. When you're wrong, I'm not stopping the press until 1) you admit you're wrong or 2) it's so obviously apparent that an admission is unnecessary. I've clashed with a lot of people on here and I've had a lot of people agree with what I'm saying. It's part of the package.

I've admitted multiple times on here that I can be, and definitely have been, an arrogant prick. I own up to the douchiness. But that doesn't take away from the validity of what I'm saying about your NBA takes coming from a place of cluelessness.

It's funny because I remember van gundy and Jackson talking about TT's defense when he gets switched to a smaller offensive player and how not a lot of PF's/C's in this league can do what he was doing.

But no, rob is right and he can't defend in the open space. Smh
