In Aruba, yes. Off the coast of Jersey, no. Like others, I love the ocean as long as I can see what is lurking beneath me. I'm not just going to blindly jump into a hole of terrifying creatures.

The caribbean is like a giant swimming pool. I'm sure there are sharks around, but I've never felt unease in the waters there since they are so clear and open.

I havent either. Hell, I swam with hammerheads in the Galapagos this summer.

But, when you can see them and how uninterested they are, your fear is diminished.

And, when you see shit that is genuinely terrifying...like a Galapagos Shark...you can get the fuck out of the water right away lol.

Exactly. That's what makes New York sharks so frightening haha.

A trip to the Galapagos sounds in order for me. That'd be sick.

Was at the IL beach the time of that bass kill off. Man that place was NASTY, smelly and just disgusting. Was hard to find a spot to eve walk out to the water because of all the dead fish on shore.

LOL...I've heard it all now. Destroyed by waves? What kind of sissy are you?

To answer the OP, yes...but I'm a bit more cautious now. As a kid, I was a fish....swimming out far as fuck without a care in the world.

You do realize he's like, 23 years old and like, works out in the gyms like every day, and could probably like totally kick your ass.

Buckeye Lake is scarier than the oceans.

I swam in the ocean. I don't really know if I can say I swim in the ocean, since I live in Ohio, not close to the ocean. I don't mind being about waist-deep in it, but that's about the extent of it.

That is what the carp look like down on the Ohio river in Steubenville. They come and feed on all the untreated feces and human waste. It is such a site to see. Sometimes we see them grab at old diapers and 40 once beer bottles. They are so good to eat and one carp can feed an entire household of 5. If we get about 30 of them we have a block party and gobble gobble.

Lol at eating carp. I'd rather eat a shoe.
