There are going to be at least a half dozen guys who are yet to be taken who will end up being top 50 scorers in this league. It's just so hard to predict the roles of some guys, especially once you get past the #1 or #2 players on the team.
Have you noticed that no Kentucky Wildcats, Kansas Jayhawks, Arizona Wildcats and 1 Duke Blue Devil (who I feel was a big reach) have been taken yet? The same is pretty much similar with many of the better teams, who outside of them having a completely dominant star (which I'm assuming he feels Okafor will be), haven't had many players taken.
Last year, I believe McDermott, Smart, Parker, Wiggins, Randle, etc...were first rounders. Obviously the draft is slightly different this year, but it's interesting how much the hype of teams and recruits really drive perception.
Okafor is a pre-season all american in a lot of the websites I check. CBS even has him for their POY. I know it all means nothing but I think he's a conservative bet for 16 and 8. And then 1 assist, steal, and block a game. That's over 30 fantasy points right there.
Plus, he's a center. That's huge in our game.
