Do we restrict travel? Do we quarantine all international travelers? Is this being blown out of proportion by the MSM?

Yeah, I'd be concerned. I think we're being fed a bunch of "it's only transmitted through body fluids" bullshit. Am I going to start walking around in a hazmat suit and change my daily life? No, but we're going to see this shit spread like wildfire if they don't take it seriously.

What going to happen? A small number of cases, rampant paranoia, and finally, nothing.

Reminds me a lot of SAR and Swine Flu. Basically a few worthless boomers will perish and we will be better off in the long run as a society.

Shit, thousand and thousands of people die each year from the flu itself. People should be more worried about that.

I have gotten it the last 4-5 years only because my part time job requires it and does it for free, but other than that I wouldnt.

Word. I've always heard its 50/50 shot you'll still get the flu even if you had the shot. The article below says its closer to 60% you won't. The flu shot and the strains covered any year is only a guess by the Medical field. It does not guarantee you won't get the flu.
Personally I'd rather just keep the shit out of me.

Big deal, Nostradumbass. It seemed fairly obvious that some small number of cases would find their way to our shores.

Don't bother responding to Tiernan about this subject (or any, really). He was a dumbass then just as he is now.

You have to directly come into contact with someone who's actively showing symptoms, which mirror the flu. If someone had flu-like symptoms, you wouldn't go touching their face, nose, and mouth, right? (Apparently Tiernan would so he's pretty worried about all this) Morons who don't under disease transmission and neglect washing their hands end up catching Ebola. Not only that, but it's considerably treatable once diagnosed.

The only reason people are croaking in the numbers they are from this is because they live in 3rd world countries with shitty healthcare systems.
