I haven't gone to a whole lot of pro (or college) sporting events that would cost a lot of money. Mainly because most events I go to are soccer games and the ticket prices are always reasonable (or for me, free!).

Two tickets to Packer games in separate years, that's probably the most. But, my wife (then girlfriend) bought them each time. She bought them at the beginning of the season so they were at a better price. I imagine they were around $100 each.

Outside of that, most of the money has been wrapped up in the travel, food, and lodging surrounding the events I've been to.

$150 on two occasions:

1: Oct. 22, 1997 World Series Game 4 at the Jake- It was 38 degrees with wind chill in the teens and snowing. Jaret Wright pitched and we won 10-3. My ticket was third row in outfield bleachers. The best Cleveland sports atmosphere I have ever been a part in. Then we went back up to Cleveland to party at the bars and watch Game 7, which was one of the worst Cleveland sports atmospheres as Jose Meza blew lead in the ninth and Nagy gave up the 2 out bases loaded single off his glove and into the outfield in the top of the 11th!

2. Nov. 29, 2012 Ohio State @ Duke Basketball game. The ticket was top row in the corner, but still not a bad ticket for as small as Cameron Indoor Stadium is. OSU scored the first 11 points of the game and were up by 8 at halftime. Then they let freshman Rasheed Sulaimon and Quinn Cook take over in the second half and lost 73-68.

The best free ticket I ever got was for an Indians game in Toronto in 1997. The tickets were in the Hard rock Café which was in centerfield of the stadium. You got $30 worth of free food and beer for the ticket. We had many drinks before the game started and then had the waitress bringing a round every inning. We got hammered and I do not even remember the game much. What I do remember is that I got up on the table and started dirty dancing with the waitress at the end of the game.

I've been to some pricey games/tickets, but luckily for me I have never had to pay for them.

Believe it was $150-175 or so for the STeelers hosting the AFC champ game vs the Ravens. I paid face value. On like Tuesday a few more tickets go on sale for NFL games....the tix returned from the other team and any family/team tix not used. I got lucky and there was 1 left and sat with family members of the team.

The highest face value ticket I ever had was $225 for club seats at the steelers but got them for free from my brother's company

Best free ticket I ever got was a Reds ticket from a guy on twitter. He tweeted that he had an extra up for grabs and I jumped on it. Met him outside the ballpark and he gave me the ticket. He wouldn't take anything for it, he just wanted to make sure it didn't go to waste. Turns out the seat was first row behind the Reds dugout. Ryan Ludwick hit a walkoff HR to beat the Cardinals.

The $750 was for all three games during the final four. I've been twice now and it's an awesome weekend. I think I've paid $750 and $600. I really need to enter into the lottery for face value tickets.

the most I've made off of a ticket was OSU Vs Texas. I got four tickets the Tuesday before the game. They were all singles located all over set stadium. I paid about $280 for the 4 tickets. I sold three for $1300 and used the last ticket myself. Since OSU lost I shoulda sold the forth ticket and made another $400-$500

My two buddies and I got free all-you-can-eat all-you-can-drink tickets to the CBJs at Preds game two years ago. That was a shitshow.

It was easy finding people willing to go. I can't remember the price/ticket, but it really wasn't bad. I also went to the WC play-in game last year, but it was less than $100.
I snuck into an ALCS game vs. the Red Sox that year at the Jake.

I spent about $100 for an OSU/Wisconsin ticket last year. Face value to the OSU/Miami NC game in Tempe was about $90 if I remember correctly, so that would probably be second.

I spent $1800 for a package to the 2003 fiesta bowl, but that included airfare and 3 nights in a hotel.

I will gladly pay $ the next time the Buckeyes play in a national championship. I will not miss the next one OSU wins in either football or basketball.

It was my sons first race, so we wanted to go big. It included garage and pit road access before and after the race and our seats were on top of a building in turn 4 in the infield, right behind pit road.

Ohio St./LSU Nat'l title game. I think tix were around $350/ea and we were 8 rows off the field in the endzone. It was great (for awhile). New Orleans is an absolute Shit Show. Would go back anytime. Have went to numerous other big games but didn't have to pay.

Did hang out in a suite w/ at the time Gov. Strickland at Quicken loans for a Cavs game. That was great time. Photobombed a ton of "suites"

$110 to watch osu destroy cal. Had to buy ore st tickets to even be able to buy osu tho so really bought 2 tickets for the price. Didn't go to ore st, think I threw the tickets away tbh.

$75 for browns v Washington professional football team. Paid $35 for browns raiders tickets, 10 rows behind bench at the 40.

I am sure the game was in Oakland. Tickets in Cleveland are cheap, but they aren't that cheap for front row seats.

Lions/Bills tickets are starting as low as $38, hope this helps.

Yeah it doesn't help Game 3 is at 330 and the Lions game is at 1 so it's gonna take a back seat to baseball. Hope this helps a Cleveland fan understand what happens in a town where people actually go to baseball games

There are other games listed near 40 dollars or in the lower 50's (I assume the game in the 50's is due to the star power of the other team). Nice fail though.

Congrats your "village" is a baseball town and not a football town. Still haven't sold 455 consecutive games. Keep trying little guy.
