Mine (ridiculously early I know)

1. Chargers
2. Seahawks
3. Cardinals
4. Broncos
5. Bengals
6. Bills
7. Eagles
8. Ravens
9. Bears
10. Patriots

Not based on how good I think they'll prove to be....more so on what they have done.

Saw Pete Prisco had the Bengals at #1 and the Cardinals at #2. He's such a Steeler sack rider. Had them in the top 10 too.

I don't think Bengals at 1 is too far a stretch. Their season will come down to Dalton in the playoffs. If he plays well then I think they can win it all.

So far, I agree with the Bengals at 1. They've pretty much dominated their competition. It's very early though.

I don't know that I'd put them in the top 10, but I can see why someone would. 2-1 with one very good win and one ugly loss would have to be borderline for that, considering that on the couple lists here, the bottom parts of their top 10s are in that same boat with good moments and bad ones.

I think Pittsburgh gets a lot of their accolades due to what they've done in the past.

Especially when you have a lot of teams with high expectations with 2 Ls already.

It's looking like an odd year for the NFL. Lots of surprises.

Yeah, I was just looking at Yahoo Sports' power rankings (where Pittsburgh is #17) and I think you could take theirs and consider about every team interchangeable from #7 through #20 or so. There are 3 1-2 teams in their top 10, while a ton of 2-1 teams are in the low teens to early 20s.

Seattle is the top dog until they prove it otherwise, but they dont play that great on the road.

Hard to not put the bengals up there. They won @ baltimore and beat up two teams at home.
They are even getting a big bonus on their schedule for game 4. They have the bye week and NE I believe is playing on MNF so even though NE will be playing at home they will have a short week and the bengals extra time.

They should be 4-0.

I agree with thavoice - Seattle is on top until they have that huge, eye-opening loss. Or a couple close ones anyways. Beating Denver the other day certainly helps their cause.

1a. Eagles
1b. Bengals
1c. Seahawks
4. Cardinals
5. Denver
6. Chicago
....not sure after that. Dallas, San Diego are tough. Not really sold on Detroit, New England, and Carolina yet.

I think that's actually pretty normal for the NFL. There are 2-3 teams you can pretty much guarantee are going to be good (Denver and Seattle this year) and then whoever we think will be good, usually suck, and vice versa.

Niners don't look like a playoff team at all. They look awful actually. My bro in law is a huge fan so I watch their games with him and they just aren't very good, RIGHT NOW.

They have ZERO game-breakers on offense. I'm a big fan of Stevie Johnson and Crabtree, but they are NOT the answer to compliment Boldin. Vernon Davis is good, but he's their only deep threat. Their defense will keep them viable, but honestly, I don't see any way their offense can win them a Super Bowl. It's not all Kaepernick either. He's not great, but I think with a different group he would be a better passer.

2. Seahawks
3. Broncos
4. Eagles
5. Cards
6. Colts (homer pick...but also nearly beat Broncos on the road on SNF and were a bad call away from handing Philly only loss...destroyed the 1st non-SB team they played)
7. Chargers
8. Bears
9. Falcons
10. Cowboys

If the Niners beat Philly this week, 3 of their next 4 are KC at home, STL at home, at DEN and at STL. In theory, they go 5-3. After that?

At New Orleans
vs Seattle
at Seattle
vs San Diego
vs Arizona

There are a few other winnable games (at NYG, vs WAS, at OAK), but that schedule is pretty brutal and I don't see the NFC wild card winners with anything shy of 10 wins. Heck, Arizona had 11 last year and missed out. The Niners would be in big trouble unless they are 5-3 heading into that 2nd half.

Niners got torched by drew Stanton and john brown. Foles might get 500 yards
