Tribe takes advantage of an Astro's misplay and pushes the lead to 2-0 ...now in the 7th.

Gomes has both RBIs...Carrasco is throwing a 1 hitter....that being an infield hit that Altuve legged out.

*Thanks vball.

Well, I lied...mostly because I forgot it would be impossible to ignore the Tribe till Monday without avoiding Twitter.

Didnt watch, but amazing game by Carrasco. I'm starting to get extremely excited for next season, WAY to early lol.

Dominant performance by CC.

Is he going to be our 2 starting next year?

Kluber and him back to back could be lethal and if Salazar breaks out in year 3...those are some serious power arms.

Plus Bauer as a wild card.

We need to add some punch to the lineup.

I don't think there is any doubt. And I don't think it's a fluke either. I really think it was all mental with CC and trying to "save" his stuff for later in the game. When he moved to the pen and was told go out there and throw all out he had success and used that to do the same thing from pitch 1. Knowing now that when he is tired, he will be taken out. It's been a complete 180.

as for Salazar, he and Bauer have really had great stretches in the 2nd half. Not enough to be 100% confident in...but enough to really believe they may break out in 2015.

As you said, we need another power bar to go along with Santana. I'm honestly fine with him if he only hits .250 as long as the power is what it has been since the move to 1st permanently. Just need someone else to possibly hit 30 HRs...and it needs to be a RH.

I want to get my hopes up for next year, but I know it's a bad idea. Dolan will find a way to fuck us.

Far fetched but win today and we are 4.5 out of the WC and get KC at home for 4 with one of the being a 4-2 game in the 10th.

Issue is the 3 at Minny this weekend. They are playing well. Can probably only lose 2 games max the rest of the year to have a shot.

The one big thing working in your favor is that nobody is trying to pull away from the pack. Oakland has been in a long slump and Seattle is playing down to their level right now. The problem is the amount of games you have to make up, but if there are two teams playing at a level to make that possible, it might be those two.

I think you can't lose more than 1 and you have to sweep the Royals.

Unfortunately, we need the Tigers to sweep the Royals this weekend. I hate the Tigers, but it's the best shot.

Dammit...the Tribe is making another mediocre pitcher look like Cy Young..... in the bottom of the 8th now....trailing 1-0. Another great starting pitching performance...this time by Salazar....may go to waste.

Tribe finally wins it in the 13th...on a Aviles' sac fly with the bases loaded.

Tribe takes 3 of 4 to keep hopes alive.

It's a shame that these guys are getting such good pitching and it's likely all going to go to waste. Got their heads out of their behinds too late.

Francona has done a nice job with this rag tag bunch (offensively). My fear is that Francona is going to get tired of the front office/ownership not giving him much to work with and move on.
