Code Blue.

The Tribe goes to Houston needing to sweep the 'Stros to keep any hope of postseason alive. Listening to the players, it doesn't sound like they've packed it in yet. There are 14 games left and they are 5 back in the wild card...going 14-0 might not be enough.

Zac McCallister(3-6, 5.97) will lead the Tribe into battle tonight....his first start since July. He will face the Astro's Collin McHugh(9-9, 2.79)
After tonight's game the pitching matchups get more favorable.

Ryan Raburn has injured his knee and may be out for the season.
Tribe players are getting a little testy....Bryan Shaw snapped at reporters in a post game interview( I give him a lot of credit for just going out there and facing the music)...and Jason Kipnis dropped an expletive in a twitter response to an unhappy, rude fan.

Let's go Tribe...gotta win tonight...gotta win 'em all!

In 2007, the Rockies, starting on September 16th, after losing 3 straight on the 13th-15th, started a stretch where they won 13 of 14 to close the regular season. They then capped it off with a dramatic win in game 163 vs the Padres. They parlayed that stretch into a National League Pennant before the magic ran in the World Series, bowing out to our Tribe...errrr...the Red Sox in 4 games.

It is September 15th and Indians have 14 games left, including one where they already lead 4-2. Why not us? It has been done before.

Boils down to sweeping the Royals...and practically everybody else.

The Royals series probably won't matter if we don't take 6 of 7 from the Astros and Twins

The Tribe scored early, but Brantley couldn't come up with a tough catch against the wall and the Indians are down 2-1 bottom of 5th.

Zac Mac now out of the game... Replaced by C .C. Lee ...SMH.

Lonnie Chisenhall has knocked McHugh out of the game... Literally with a line drive to the wrist.

Still down 2-1.
Royals and Tigers losing ...won't help if we don't win .

Tribe making a soft tossing righty look good. The guy is topping out at 90.

1-1 in the 4th.

Tribe up 4-1 going to the 8th. Corey Kluber has stuck out 14, a career high.... In only seven innings. Only problem is that he's at 108 pitches on the night.

Shaw can't get out of the 8th... Again :(
4-2 now ... Allen on trying to restore order..... And Brantley runs down a long drive to end the inning.

with a little of bit of more offense behind Kluber this year, he could have probably had 20 wins.

Tribe again getting great starting pitching and can't put anything together offensively...they are clinging to a 1-0 lead in the fifth.
