His first TD came when they were up 27-14 on a 1 yard pass, and the other came in garbage time on a 1 yard run.

Hardly contributing, considering the fact that we couldn't score more than 7 points offensively.

Depends on the team, tbh.

It depends on if a coach feels like he can work on his poor technique and mechanics. He obviously has the intangibles, being a hard worker, having a great football IQ, and winning mentality, but he's not guaranteed to go to a team with weapons like he has/had at UF.

It certainly didn't hurt it, lol.

Not to mention, teams are sometimes hesitant to draft QB's that have never played QB from under center.

Against UC defense? NO, it doesn't. I wouldn't bet against him...but I don't think he is going to be anything other then a backup at the next level. Brian Billick did his best to be "nice" while talking about him on TV tonite. He pointed out some flaws, that quite frankly, Tebow shouldn't have as a senior.
Tebow has been a GREAT college football player. That doesn't always translate to making it at the next level.
Lets be honest, Meyer system was a perfect fit for the type of player that Tebow is. There is no system like this in the NFL and won't be.

I hope this doesnt become a Jason White, Matt Leinart, Gino Torretta, Eric crouch type thing. I think he would do better than all of these guys, or he could play a different position. I think he can bring a great competitive attitude to a team. I still think he will be a first round draft pick because of all the positives he brings, probably the Jaguars.

I don't think he'll amount to much in the NFL, personally. His throwing motion is not the greatest, and his arm isn't as strong as you'd like it. I question his ability to make all the NFL throws, but I suspect he'll be drafted higher than he should be because of his winning mentality, and intangibles.

Maybe he will bring a different game to the NFL. Look what happened with the Wildcat offense.

You never know. I just personally don't think that he's going to be great. I think he'll be decent, but he won't be your typical QB that can lead a team like a Manning or Brees.

I think his calling is as a utility guy, maybe a bit of QB, maybe a bit of RB, and trick plays. Sort of like Josh Cribbs, but much stronger, and built more for power.

Lienhart isn't done yet. I think Tebow is better the Crouch easily. Overall he was better then Lienhart, White and Toretta. But in a pro style kind of offense, as Lienhart, White and Torretta played in, I'd take all of them as passers over Tebow.
And what other position would Tebow play? I don't think he is that great of an athlete to move elsewhere in the NFL, where most everyone is very athletic.

Cribbs? Come on, Tebow isn't near the athlete nor have the speed that Cribbs has. Bad comparison.

Problem with Tebow is that he's slow, and he's not going to run over guys int he NFL like he does in college.

I'm not saying he compares to Cribbs. I'm talking about his role with the offense. Wildcat guy, bubble screens, etc. Although Tebow would not be somebody to run screens. He'd fit best as a wildcat guy, specifically in goal line situations.

I would agree. If there is a position he could be moved to, it may be the TE. But wow, a QB getting moved, to basically the offensive line, is unheard of.

Brian Billick's analysis of Tebow's throwing motion was very informative and it was complete with video evidence.He drops the ball to his hip as he prepares to throw. This makes him vulnerable to a strip and it makes his throwing motion very slow, relatively speaking. According to Billick, the throwing windows in the NFL are much smaller and a slow throwing will result in poor accuracy and turnovers.

If Tebow wants to remain a QB, his mechanics will have to be completely overhauled.

I won't write Tebow off as a quarterback just yet. He has a lot of work he needs to do between now and playing in the NFL, but he's shown that he has a good attitude and (from all public appearances) a great work ethic. No matter how you look at it, this kid is a winner. I don't think it is too far of a stretch for a team with an established quarterback to pick him and make him a project. Sit him on the bench for a few years where you work on his skillset as a quarterback, and let him backup an established quarterback. I don't look for him to be an All-Pro QB at any point in his career, but I would not be completely shocked if he manages to have a very good career in the NFL. And hey, if all he ends up doing is hanging around the league for 5 years as a backup, he's still going to make a lot more money in that time than most of us are going to make in 5 years.

I think Tebow will go in the late first or second round, unfortunately for some team who's General manager will then be released for making such a stupid selection.

I agree with Da Browns on this. He has all the intangibles and MIGHT turn out to be a good Qb in the NFL but I doubt it. A wildcat guy and special teams player is what I see. I would not draft him unless I could get him in the 6th or 7th round and take a chance on him as a value.

I think you will see Tebow as a coach in the future. After a couple years in the NFL I would take a flyer on him in some coaching position. His leadership skills are second to none.

Those guys are not as good as you are making them out to be(except for hernandez,hes very good) Cooper is a little above average along with Demps and Rainey...Moody had 50 carries this year,not much more needs to be said.
