But this really sucks for the Panthers. After their win on Sunday that had a pretty decent shot of winning the division if they won out.

@SteveCrumpWBTV: CMPD source says no injuries to Cam Newton.He did not want to be transported. Taken to hospital as a precaution.

I'd still put Bettman at #1 for infinity unless Goodell screwed up so bad that major sponsors started dropping like flies and the NFL is struggling to get any sort of national TV contract (ie: probably never barring unbelievable fuck-ups left and right).

I don't know how to really gauge a guy like Landis compared to more modern-era commissioners, as in his era, pro sports were more of a diversion than a billion dollar industry. It's almost an apples to oranges sort of scenario.
