Without reading 8 pages of low-grade smack to find the half dozen cogent posts, I'll just say that anyone who ranks UC above tOSU right now (not who had a better season, who is the better team today) is blindly loyal, should actually learn something about football, or both.

Wow it took a whole 4 posts for the ND fans and haters to ruin a thread that had nothing to do with Notre Dame or Notre Dame hating.

Its been 1936 since Notre Dame beat Ohio State in football.

Its also been a while in Baseball. The Bucks have won the last 3 I think.

Men's B-Ball also beat them like a drum in Indy last year too....

Except for Men's Hockey(because we suck this year), Notre Dame can't beat us in anything

they have played five times in the history of college football.

they are not rivals and likely never will be. move along...


anyways, to answer the original question: ohio state is a better all-around team than cincy, however, florida would have beaten ohio state by 10-14 as well.

I actually disagree with the first part of your statement. I think OSU and Notre Dame would care far less about each other if they played more often. The fact that they have only played 5 times ever just makes it worse.

I agree with your last statement though. OSU is better than Cincinnati. Florida is better than OSU.

Hockey beat you last year as well. Just saying. I was there, it was a great game haha.

You guys are the ones who starting bitching about me coming on a thread that asks people to rank a half a dozen teams and stating my opinion and my top two. If you look back, all I did was defend my argument untill other people began to throw off-topic attacks at me. I also pointed out that I never post on OSU threads, like someone accused me of doing. Some of you live on ND threads. This isn't even an OSU-only thread and I posted my opinion and got jumped. Looks like you guys really didn't want opinions on this one, just to hear yourselves talk and feel better that you think you're better than the little brother in UC.

Alright killer, I'll go back to the ND threads, I'm sure you know what I'm dealing with. I forgot that stating an opinion that a 12-1 team who loses to Florida is better than a team who lost to Purdue and USC in the regular season upsets the buckeye fans and is considered smack by the Ohio State faithful. I know you have to put up with the same stuff, but I got a little frustrated.

You can't get thrashed on the big stage and expect much respect, locally nor nationwide. That'll be borne out in the final polls next week.

Since when is a 8-5 team that was curbstomped by BYU the equivalent of a 10-3 team and Pac 10 Champion??

Illinois and UConn "almost" put away UC in Cincy.

1. Oregon and Oregon State=NOT THE SAME. "Almost" winning also equals losing. One finished the regular season 8-4, the other 10-2. I don't know how Oregon State 'almost winning' means anything than they were not as good as Oregon.

2. Yes, Cincinnati beat a 10-win Pitt team. And that's it. Ohio State beat 11-win Penn State who beat a much better team than North Carolina (Pitt's opponent) in their bowl game. They also beat 10-win Navy. And 10-win Iowa. And 10-win Wisconsin. I don't get why you bring up the fact that OSU lost twice and Cincinnati lost once and that they beat 10-win Pitt yet continually fail to acknowledge Ohio State's FIVE wins against 10-win or better teams.
