Four batters, zero outs, game ends on a HBP.

Just saw on twitter it was a HBP. I'm not even mad, that's amazing.

When I made my post this was what I had seen:

"@m_sheldon: Hoover back out for 9th. Last night, Price held back Broxton for save situation. Doing it again even w/Cards heart of order up. #reds"

Went and checked Gamecast and it showed bases loaded no outs. Hoover finds new ways to lose every time out!

Hopefully Price isn't brought back next year.

What in the hell does he see in JJ Hoover?! He's fucking 1-10 with a 5.5 era lol

I support not using Broxton in the 9th, and continuing with Hoover. Price is generally doing a good job with what he has to work with, and tonight with the starter going out in the 6th I think he did pretty good managing what he had. I would have left Parra in at least for the two lefties due up, and maybe not double switched Ludwick out. But again, the offense puts so much pressure on the bull-pen. The Cards gave the Reds two runs and they had 2nd and 3rd with just one out, but could not add any runs!!!!

Potential! Who else that is available is any better that you don't need to save to close?

I say nobody starts another thread. This team/coach is such a joke. If they aren't the worst team since the break they are definitely bottom 3.

They're done in every sense of the word except mathematically. They probably were last week, but have just been bleeding out since then. The bullpen is so beat up/exhausted/terrible that they cannot protect any measly lead the offense seldom gains.

I concur.

Price preached accountability in the offseason.

Where the fuck in the accountability with JJ fucking Hoover? Over a 5 ernie, ten fucking losses.
TEN.

I dont care if they think he has good stuff, or there is no other options....BULLFUCKING shit. I bet there are many AA and AAA relievers who could have taken his spot and not have 10 losses at this point.

Some say that one run games are a reflection of the manager. WEll....that reflection is pretty fucking bad at this point.

Good riddance reds. I am done with you this season.

(btw....who is pitching tonite?
