Parsons already signed the offer sheet from Dallas.
I think they can sign Bosh first and then go over the cap to get Parsons. But it can't be the other way around

What do the Heat do now? They have a lot of cap space. Obviously Wade will get a max deal but they could still sign another player to the Max and then some if they wanted.

I don't think that's how it works, unless restricted FA is different. I believe you either need to resign your own guys first, or "renounce" them (remove the salary from the books), in which case you can't exceed the cap to re-sign them.

Honestly the Rockets are now a strong contender with the addition of Bosh and by keeping Parsons. That's 3 top 25 players on the same team + Mr. Top 26 himself.

@ESPNSteinLine: Sources say Houston Rockets trying to trade Jeremy Lin to the Los Angeles Lakers. Report now on @SportsCenter

Also, it's now being reported that the Bulls are back in the running for Melo and LA is out.

I can't believe melo is contemplating Chicago. He must really want to win. 50 mill would be brutal to turn down.

@WojYahooNBA: The Rockets finalizing Jeremy Lin, a future first-round pick and other draft considerations to the Lakers, league source tells Yahoo.

Helps the Lakers financially. And getting a pick and then some. I'm ok with it.

The Rockets should do what they can to keep Terrence Jones. He's a perfect compliment to Bosh and had some monster games last when he got extended PT. He, Montejunas, Hamilton and Nick Johnson. They probably need a cheap big. It's not a terrible bench if they can keep Jones.

Heat have offered Bosh the 5 year max contract.

Bulls have reached out to Wade to gauge interest.

How do you think he'll fit on the court?

An extra 30m, and living in South Beach is tough to turn down, especially since he already has a ring.

A plus is that Cavs should get late lottery, mid teens pick from Miami now.

If Dwade comes back, the Heat won't be a lottery team. They won't be great, but it is crazy to believe they won't make the playoffs in a very poor East

Depends who else they sign, and how much time Wade will miss next season. He won't play more games than he played this year. If he plays significantly less, could see them in the late lottery.

Let's pretend Wade and Bosh goes back, and Melo signs in Miami. Where does that team finish in the East?
