That 2015 Pels pick is gonna be pretty good too.

Their owner made it seem like deals were already in place for Lin and Asik. Seems like it was the case with Asik at least, wonder where Lin goes.HighRoller74;1630179 wrote:I think they'll still have to Move Lin, but heading that way.

I dont want to put two and two together because I haven't seen a transcript of podcast, quotes or even heard it but Chad Ford mentioned on Simmons' podcast that its not uncommon for athletes from Africa to test positive for hepatitis. Reason for his agent sealing the med records?HighRoller74;1630160 wrote:https://twitter.com/JakeLFischer/status/481970863093207040
Hope that's true. Totally brings the lulz
Saw that. And/or issues about their bone density due to more than likely being malnourished.sportswizuhrd;1630192 wrote:I dont want to put two and two together because I haven't seen a transcript of podcast, quotes or even heard it but Chad Ford mentioned on Simmons' podcast that its not uncommon for athletes from Africa to test positive for hepatitis. I can't see why any Cavs fan would want to make that trade with Orlando. That is a HORRIBLE trade for us.HighRoller74;1630121 wrote:If the Jazz offer is legit, not sure how the Cavs can't pull the trigger. Same with the Orlando offer.
Cavs have too many holes that could/would be filled by both those offers, while still potentially (probably) getting Embiid, at much less risk.
Jazz giving 5, 23, Favors and Burks for the #1, and Dion/Jack
Orlando giving 4. 12. Afflalo for #1 and Dion/Jack.
How is that a horrible trade?Mulva;1630203 wrote:I can't see why any Cavs fan would want to make that trade with Orlando. That is a HORRIBLE trade for us.
The Utah trade is more tempting.
If Embiid doesn't slide, you're still picking 4th, and you still are guaranteed to get one of the Consensus Top 4 players in the draft. Along with filling another need at 12.Mulva;1630215 wrote:Afflalo was an OK player on a horrible team last year. He's a role player on a good team. There's no way he's a top 5 shooting guard, even as bad as the position currently is. You're basically making that move hoping that Embiid slides. What if he doesn't? You don't trade the #1 pick for a "probably". It's gotta be a sure thing.
And he'd still be an upgrade over Dion.Mulva;1630218 wrote:I mean, Harden, Derozan, Klay, Stephenson, Ellis, Manu, Wade off the top of my head. I would personally take Crawford and Beal over him. And that doesn't even factor Kobe in.
Afflalo is a Wesley Matthews level player. A 4th option on a good team.
There's a huge drop off after the top 3, with the possible exception of Exum, who probably wouldn't be in play due to his position.HighRoller74;1630217 wrote:If Embiid doesn't slide, you're still picking 4th, and you still are guaranteed to get one of the Consensus Top 4 players in the draft. There really isn't that big of a drop off from the top 3, and Exum. Exum, by most every analyst I've seen is listed on the same level as the other 3 guys.Mulva;1630220 wrote:There's a huge drop off after the top 3, with the possible exception of Exum, who probably wouldn't be in play due to his position.
If you think Waiters and #1 for something like Afflalo, Julius Randle, and Nik Stauskas is a good trade, we probably don't have anything else to debate.

I don't get that?? Up until four years ago they were one of the most competitive teams in the league. In 2010 Lebron completely screwed them wasting so much time and resources there was no way they were going to field a competitive team immediately after that. I think this last season is when you could finally label them as underachieving. He's not doing the draft coverage tonight, is he? I don't feel like listening to him whine for the first 45 minutes. One of the most incompetent franchises of the last seven to eight years (Cleveland) has the first pick
Like I said, just Bill Simmons being a cheap shot artist at Cleveland and can GFH. He sucks ass, article besides that was still interesting.friendfromlowry;1630226 wrote:I don't get that?? But if they are one of the most incompetent, what does that make Sacramento, Minnesota, Detroit, Orlando, or Philadelphia?
Yeah, I read that yesterday. I love in-depth looks at drafts like that and who were high-pick busts, compared to low-pick stars (or at least starters).Commander of Awesome;1630095 wrote:Anyone buying the Cavs trading the pick rumors?
