Live in - Suburbs, 25 years. Grew up in the country, lived for ten years in highly urban environments in Columbus and Boston. Prefer suburban, would consider city. Wild pigs couldn't draw me back to the country.

Biggest factor - living with small-town close-mindedness. Sure - you can find it anywhere, but it doesn't pervade the entire community.

I'm in Perrysburg, just outside of Toledo. Really nice suburb which results in higher property taxes and it is a good school district for children. No downsides for me as I'm OK with houses being closer together and not having acres of land. Still plenty around to do within a 15 mile radius.

That alone is cause for some concern.

My first home was on Maple street.. Loved Perrysburg hated the winters up in that area ....

I live in a small town. It is a great place to raise kids-the schools are top notch, not much crime, not much traffic…..but not much in the area of entertainment.One thing I can hang my hat on-I live less than 30 minutes form that "Village of Victors"….Coldwater, Ohio.

I live in a suburb. I like it overall. I have had the experience to live in a center city in the past and that was my favorite lifestyle. It's not compatible with this stage in my life, but maybe again someday.

I enjoy visiting my daughter in Chicago, the great food, places to visit, events and entertainment, I could live there for a short time only, then I think I would start to feel cage in and to routine life style.

Country is where my heart is, being raised for a period of time in the farmland of East Canton was a great experience. The feeling of freedom, hard work but that laid back slow down attitude is wonderful life style.

I live with in the city limits but it is more like a suburb. Our property lots size is over an acre so we are not cramped by our neighbors, I like the fact that I can have the convenience of shopping, dinning out and other entertainment within a short drive. I like the suburb life style but need that lake cabin get away and that occasional big city adventure.

Not far from Alliance. Moved down here from Brookpark (Cleveland suburb) a little over 11 years ago to be with my girlfriend. Her daughter was in special needs classes and the local school is actually one of the better ones for special needs. Didn't feel it was fair to uproot her family.

Country.

Pros - nearest neighbor nearly a mile away, no more listening in on other couples' screaming arguments.
- can be downtown in about 1/2 hour

Cons - people who believe my property is their landfill and unwanted animal dumping station.

Jalapeno, habenero, tobasco, and sweet peppers of all sorts. They only bug them when I first plant em. Once they are grown and producing fruit they dont touch them. This year they wiped me out twice had to replant them all. I've never tried Tabasco plants. Jalapeños and habs are a staple every year. Living in a neighborhood keeps me grounded as far as how much I can grow. I have dreams of seeing acres of jalapeños and habaneros...planted by me and for me! Canning them wouldn't be a bad idea. I've dehydrated and made a dust from my peppers before. The only problem was that I used ghost peppers. Dumb! Way too spicy.
