I will say very much like Oosthuizen's British Open win a few years ago where he hammered the field because he got a few days of good weather and ran away
DJ almost won the 2010 PGA Championship at Whistling Straights. He grounded his club in a hazard and it cost him the tournament. The "hazard" he was in was in an area where the gallery was standing. It was bizarre. It certainly didn't look like a hazard.

No I was correct I looked it up. 2010 at Pebble Beach he had a 3 shot lead going into the final round and carded an 82

Lol. A 3 shot lead going into the final day of the US Open is not in any way, shape, or form ALMOST winning it.

It isn't? Ha I guess our opinions differ but he had a hell of a nice cushion heading into Sunday and totally blew it especially considering the winning score was E and he was -6 going into the day. He wins with a 76

IMO merely going into the final round of a major with the lead is nowhere near winning it.

3 strokes with 18 holes left...in a U.S. Open? Seriously....1 hole leeway

The women mostly got their asses kicked in the opening round of the Open today.

That 11 year old girl shot 78 though, which was no where near the bottom of the field. She hit woods into most of the greens, and those greens aren't meant to have that long a club coming into them.

On a 6,400+ yard course that is pretty freaking impressive for a girl that age that wasn't an over grown giant like Wie that could kill the ball.

It didn't even play 6300 yesterday.

Also, the scoring average was not far off from the men(2 strokes).

Very impressive from Li though. I read a lot of backlash about her outfit though. I had zero issue with it. After all, she's ELEVEN.

There was also a hole in one on 15. That is not an easy hole.

Some hole in one's are luck (my buddy, when we were 12, hit a low screamer that might not have gotten 15 feet off the ground and rolled 150 yards for one).

Most are good shots. It's only luck to CC because he sucks at golf. Anyone who is either A) rational or B) good at golf knows this to be true.
