I'm lovin how all the pompous windbags like Durkie, S&L, Tigerbeat etc etc...flock to any post Ted, CC or myself put out there. They all claim to have one time or another put me on "ignore" and yet they can't reply quick enough to anything I say on any thread. Just sitting by the keyboard waiting for me their idol.

I get it..it is the USA so we all want them to win.
I just dont understand how everyone is so crazy about this team.
Hearing about how they went above and beyond expectation yada yada yada.
They went 1-1-1 and scored 4 goals in 3 games. To me that just isnt something I would get too excited about.

The big difference though when people bring up baseball, or hockey, and low scoring is that is not the norm in those two sports and in baseball each pitch has the opportunity to be a big hit, and any given hockey game has 25-50 SOG's where there is potential.
Many hockey games the goalie has 3-5 saves in a game. NOt only is scoring low, but the actual shots are low as well.
