He also should probably have a psychological assessment done. He cant be all there, and if so, should probably just be banned.
Bill Barnwell brought up an interesting explanation for it here http://grantland.com/the-triangle/world-cup-luis-suarez-bite-italy-uruguay/

The best part of the article was the last paragraph that has the mini-rant against the idea that somehow athletes bad behavior is redeemed by on the field production.

Pretty sure I read that FIFA's rules allow for a max of 24 matches. But I would have to think that would cover at least 3 years.

Well, I forgot how stupid it is that Fifa can only suspend him for Fifa matches lol.

So, yeah, I guess whatever the max is. I think I read 2 years...which would put him out of the Copa, at least.

Thats actually the one I mean, since the USA will be in it. But yeah, he would miss both. Unfortunately, he would be back for any meaningful qualifying matches for 2018, I think.

BTW I'm totally Ok with the Italy red card. He went cleats up high on the guy. Anyone in his position knows how to make that same tackle without going cleats up.

Just watched it for the 1st time 2 minutes ago. Thats a red card every time. Cleats up, right at the guys knee? That was a terrible tackle.

Ill agree Ive seen worse not called a RC (De Jong anyone...?), but that doesnt mean this wasnt the right call. Same type of automatic call as a 2 feet sliding tackle.

@SportsCenter: THIS JUST IN: FIFA charges Luis Suarez for biting opponent. If found guilty, rules call for minimum ban of 2 matches, maximum of 24 months.

For a 3rd time, he should be out the remainder. I like what the italian player said "FIFA wants their stars to play, lets see if they have the courage to do anything"

I think his last suspension was 10 games for biting so you would think a third time should be longer

The FA handled that suspension, FIFA will deal with this.

Correct. But, you have to think FIFA wont want to do anything less. Hell, wont even want to do anything even. I know they are corrupt as fuck, but they cant let a biter play again for a long time when its documented (even though handled by the FA) twice before.

It's pretty fucked up if he isn't out the rest of the tournament.

1-1 after 4 minutes with Nigeria and Argentina.

Oh yeah, some guy named Messi scored the Argentina goal. Heard he's pretty good.

Messi is "in the mood" today, to quote the great Phil Schoen.

I wouldnt be surprised at all by a hat-trick.
