Yeah, I'll be there working the last two US games. Going to be crazy from the sounds of it.

Top 3 teams are the payout, so basically if I'm not in the top 5 I think I'll have like a 5% chance of winning anything, haha. Thinking my order will be Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Uruguay, and Italy for my top 8. Any good sleeper teams for my last 2 picks, or just fun teams to root for? Was thinking Ivory Coast and Cameroon but honestly don't know much about them except Eto'o players for Cameroon and Drogba plays for Ivory Coast.
Bosnia, Ivory Coast, and Belgium are my 3 sleepers, especially Bosnia.

Belgium can't be a sleeper. They are like 5th favorite!

Yeah but I bet on them last year so i've been calling it for a long time. Also had netherlands at 40/1. Looking shitty now but they are up to 25/1 on my website.

Cincinnati is supposedly showing the USMNT matches on the streets (somewhere). I believe the Cincinnati Saints are helping sponsor the event(s).

Fun article about World Cup player names: http://mashable.com/2014/06/04/world-cup-best-names/.

Thanks for the tips. Cameroon was my "Well shit, there's 5 teams left so who seems the least shitty?" pick. Hadn't even looked at Bosnia but may give them a shot when it comes my time.

I'm watching PTi for the first time in a while. Wilbon goes off on jurgen for saying Americans overpay their aging stars (Kobe). He's absolutely right. Wilbon is saying he wants him "gone" lmao

Allow me to shorten this for you...

A team made up of a bunch of guys named Ian & Declan beat a team made up of a bunch of guys named Mohammed and Akbar 1 - nil

A team made up of a bunch of guys named Ricardo & Miguel beat a team made up of a bunch of guys named Chang & Wong 1 - nil

Then Ricardo & Miguel kick Ian & Declan's ass in a real blow out 2 - nil.

Belgium, Colombia, Bosnia, South Korea. Points go 1 for each goal, 1 for a tie, and 3 for a win in group play, then 1 per goal and 5 per win in knockout play. Kind of weird scoring, but feel alright with my team.

Haha last time I was at Fados (St Patricks Day) a guy I knew was working security. He acted like he didn't know any of us when we went in, he even checked my ID. Don't be that guy.
