Respect what?

He makes outlandish claims and then when one hits home, he talks about how he called it and how great he is. He still whiffs a majority of his picks.

That doesn't make me want to listen to him. It makes him seem like an arrogant prick.

His irritating voice is just icing on the cake.

Mike and Mike and Cowherd are neck-and-neck IMO in terms of sports talk.

I still think Jim Rome has the best radio show followed by svp and russillo. SVP/Russillo is more of a bro gossip talk show.
I think Cowherd was just getting stretched too thin doing both. I don't exactly feel bad for him since both of those responsibilities basically would give him an 8-9 hour work day like the rest of us, but apparently someone thought his radio show was suffering due to having both gigs

You do realize those shows take at least 4 hrs if prep right?

Literally has nothing to do with my comment.

If I didn't know Greenberg was married, I'd assume him gay. In the past couple weeks he's went on irrelevant tangents about a shirt Golic was wearing that he really liked, and how Golic texted him out of the ordinary one day and surprised the hell out of him.

Anyone listen to Mad Dog radio? M&M are annoying, but still way better than Evan and Phillips in the morning. Evan Cohen is the most annoying sports reporter I can think of. But they're a lot better than ESPN about letting people call in and voice their opinions - which are often better than whatever the hosts are saying.

I think Adam Schein is probably my favorite out of all of them.

I can't stand Greenberg. I like Golic. Both are better than that asshat Dan Lebatard (spelling). His show is horrible. He literally just screams the whole time and has horrible interviews. He interviewed Knowshon Moreno. His opening question was "So, your real name isn't really Knowshon, right?" Knowshon was like "Ummmm, yeah. It is."

I just listen to ESPNCleveland any more so I can hear Aaron Goldhammer's erection for Johnny Football everyday.

He's not starting work at 3AM, and I think they recorded sportsnation pretty quick after his show, so he probably had compressed prep for one or both shows. May be the reason they cut him back.

On Sirius the NFL channel has some good shows. Of course, that is NFL talk only.

As a Browns fan, to hear Phil Savage on one of those fans is actually interesting. He really does know his stuff and probably was the best GM the Browns have had since they were back. Farmer maybe good/better but hard to tell after just one draft.

I'd bet a lot of money they stay after at least 3 hours every day and hash out the next days rundown. Then get in around 5 and make any tweaks, confirm guests, rehears the segments and questions, etc. Some days are going to be easier than others...every Friday is going to preview the weekend, and won't need near as much prep.

Channel 91 is CSN (College Sports Network)...give it a try.
