How 'bout this. You pay to replace our fence with something else and I'll change it. Otherwise, like I said before, IDGAF what you think of it. My wife and I both like it and it serves its purpose by keeping the dogs contained to where we want them to be.

I have chicken wire around my garden to keep rabbits out. It looks like hell but I don't care.

Chicken wire is more tacky than iron fencing, no matter the use.

I used chicken wire. It worked great. And unless you are standing pretty close or aren't looking for it, you can't tell it's there.

I was thinking of something like this, that I can easily remove to work in the gardens. Simple PVC and chicken wire.

That's not bad. I might need to do something similar in my front beds if the squirrels don't stop digging. I also want to try something similar with clear plastic instead of chicken wire for extending the growing season.

You'd have to secure it somehow. My beds are made from barn beams, so I imagine I can use some kind of latch.

pvc & plastic has always worked well for me when doing garden box covers...simple yet effective and if your storage space is limited it's easy to disassemble at the end of the season.

I spent $25 today for a hatchet. Did major work in removing shrubs, bushes, and a nasty vine out of the tree. First cost of beautification I've incurred this year. That vine was terrible, filled up the bed of a truck (piled over the roof) when we hauled it off.
