That's an issue that people sometimes struggle with on these types of discussions, that there has to be a good guy and a bad guy. Part of me hopes that he doesn't get voted out of the league and/or he fights the ruling in a legal battle with the NBA. This decision today was in the best interest of Adam Silver. That is the primary reason for the decision. Make no mistake about it. Racism is alive and well. People will just attempt to be more careful about who they share their views with after this.
The NBA just looks dumb here. Donald Sterling is the same person today as he was when Elgin Baylor accused him of running a "plantation" and when he bought the team three decades ago.

If the owners don't vote him out, he won't have a choice IMO. No player is going to play for him as long as his name is behind the franchise.

Really? I don't see CP3 and Griffin staying at home when millions are on the line.
