Haha yeah, it's bad. However, I'm lactose intolerant and asiants tend to never use Dairy in their meals. I also eat out for lunch and dinner every day and get sushi every tuesday. So between the rest of the days i'd say I get chinese, or different noodle places like noodles and co, etc at least 10 times.

Talked me into it. Had it for late late lunch today. Had two pieces of smoked salmon sashimii that were just ok and the Hunan combo that was pretty good. The odd thing was all of the plates they used. I had a plate for the sashimi, the plate the sashimi was on, a plate for my soy sauce/wasabi plate and then a plate for the hunan, plate for the rice, and a plate to combine both and eat from.wildcats20;1628195 wrote:Ordered Peking Dynasty probably 3-4 times a month, at least, when I lived in Bexley. Ate at Longhorn for the first time ever, wife had a gift card. Not bad for a chain. 6.3/10

That's my favorite chain. I love their steak seasoning, and the Chocolate Stampede is my jam.Sonofanump;1628445 wrote:Ate at Longhorn for the first time ever, wife had a gift card. Not bad for a chain. 6.3/10

I should have told you. Sushi is just OK. Go with the Peking Chicken or Shrimp next time. It's boss.Mohican00;1628405 wrote:Talked me into it. Had it for late late lunch today. Peking is just very average. The chicken they use is awful.

You must be talking about the Sakura Steak House not the Japanese cherry blossom spice / drinksportchampps;1629111 wrote:I've had Sakura before only thing I remember is that their scallops were good

I'm going to Columbus over the 4th. Any recommendations on new places worth checking? No fine dining. I'll be staying in German village, looking for something in the immediate area.
I tried Bakersfield in the Short North when I was there in the fall.
Sorry for the threajack, but I thought I'd get good suggestions here.

I would recommend pint house or melt. If you want to go a little further away (no more then 10 minutes) I would say tip top for dinner. Hot chicken takeover for a weekend lunch or Superchef for breakfast.

Skillet - local organic stuff. Great food but their menu does lack variety at times. I recommend this as a lunch stopAutomatik;1629231 wrote:I'm going to Columbus over the 4th. Harvest Pizzeria - motherfucking artisan pizzas. No reservations and it can get packed
Barley's Brewing - technically Short North sandwiched between the Columbus convention center and North Market, it's definitely worth the trek outside of the German Village area
lastly, Hey Hey Bar and Grilll - It's primarily a neighborhood bar but worth stopping by just for their sauerkraut balls and a few drinks
