Bama North Canton, Washington Square
Heath food type restaurant, food was good and the portion was large but so was the cost for rice, beans and vegetables. I would go back but share my meal with my wife... And get something different

2 places in East Rutherford.
East Rutherford Diner - 7/10 breakfast and 9/10 lunch
Il Forno Pizzaria (and Italian) - 9.8/10. Meatball sub and NY slices were amazing. Had to get up to get your own drinks though, so that knocks it down lol. Little dive place in Secaucus owned by the people who live upstairs.

Los Guachos - went here for lunch Friday. I love the al pastor tacos. They are marinated pork with onions pineapple and cilantro. I then add both salsas and haberno that they put on the tables. They are voted top 10 tacos in America and they live up to the rating. 10/10. BTW on Mondays the al pastor tacos are b1g1 free so four tacos for three bucks.
Hot Chicken Takeover - it's Nashville Style chicken in Columbus. Right now it's a pop up place. You go to their website and sign up to get their emails. Then they email when and where they will pop up and you pre buy your tickets. The chicken was fried perfectly probably some of the juiciest fried chicken I've ever had. I had the hot flavor and not the holy. The hot was just right for me and I love spicy food (they said the Holy is 3x hotter). The sides were pretty good. It comes with Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The ranch was homemade and really good as well. My biggest complaint is the sweet tea wasn't real southern sweet tea more like an ohio version of sweet tea. I would actually rate the chicken better then Princes Hot Chicken in Nashville. The location was in Olde Towne East which is a questionable part of town. I give the food a 10/10 but the location 7/10.
My wife and I love to try new places and go out to eat atleast very Friday so I'll post a lot of places.

Mellow mushroom for the 2nd time. The pizza FAR outweighs their subs/appetizers/etc. Still take fratellis over them though.
Also, didn't drink as I've got a soccer game at 5 but next time I go, it will be the green flash west coast IPA and delirium tremens.

Ever eaten at Hass? Had it last week and thought their tacos were great. Seems like Gauchos and Hass are mentioned with each other as the premier taco joints in Columbus. I know they have 2 locations now but neither is really that close for columbussportchampps;1609722 wrote:Los Guachos - went here for lunch Friday. I love the al pastor tacos. Also, holy shit, you were in my neighborhood yesterday. My apartment building is only like a tenth of a mile from the meat shop/corner store that was being held at in OTE. I wondered what the fuck was going with all of those people there. That place is never that packed.
Signed up for it even though I missed the perfect opportunity to check it out

Used to have mellow mushroom a lot in Biloxi. We thought it was pretty good. Met a lot of people who really don't like it though.DeyDurkie5;1609736 wrote:Mellow mushroom for the 2nd time. The pizza FAR outweighs their subs/appetizers/etc. Still take fratellis over them though.

Haven't had Hass I'll check it out. I usually go to the Gauchos in Gahanna. Have you been to Superchef on Broad yet best breakfast place I've ever had I would recommend the red velvet pancakes.
i visit OTE about once a month usually for Yellowbrick Pizza and their happy hour

Yellow brick pizza is meh to me (I like Harvest Pizzeria better but it is so goddamn expensive) but their beer selection is top notch. I would also highly recommend The Tavern which is just across the street. Great food, great beer selection as well

Any of you guys had that rock(music) themed restaurant in akron? Think they have a burger named after dustin fox or something. Can't remember the name of it.

Rowdy's.....sit down barbecue place. Everything cooked on a smoker. Family shared a sampler (pulled, chicken, pork, ribs and brisket) wife and I shared their insanely big baked potato. All shared a side of their baked beans. Fresh cornbread as well.
