Bai Du in Perryburg. Not quite as good as The Flower Drum as far as Toledo's "Chinese food scene" goes. And it's nothing fancy -- just a small little place with about 8 to 10 tables in a strip mall -- but it's excellent. Eight of 10.

O'Bryons. Great food and a patio on the roof. We went there for dinner since it looks like tonight might be the last nice night for a couple days.

Also, didn't drink as I've got a soccer game at 5 but next time I go, it will be the green flash west coast IPA and delirium tremens.
You still live in Cincinnati? I actually came on this thread to post about Mellow Mushroom in West Chester, I was there about 230 today. First time I've eaten there and only had the pizza but it was fantastic. 8.5/10

^^^It's been a long time since it was the Spanish Tavern......undergone several ownership changes. The funny thing is that the place and building is so unique, everybody still remembers the place as the Spanish tavern.

Not the last but last night a bacon bar called Briarcliff Bistro Bacon Bar in Spicewood, TX. Excellent however it was bacon overload and I paid dearly! I had two bloody's, bacon wrapped wings, bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños, a BLT w/10 strips with onion rings. Ran to bathroom locked so I destroyed the woman's bathroom. At one point a chick was knocking saying hurry up I have to pee to which I replied occupied in a high pitch voice! I then projectile vomited in the parking lot. Last time I eat and drink (bloody's had whole bacon strips) that much bacon!

Bangkok City - Buckeye Lake

Going out of business after 30 years next summer. (The Thai Owners are retiring after their last of 4 children are graduating college)

The woman who manages the front of the house in what looks like a complete dive as soon as you get into Buckeye lake from Hebron remembered me BY NAME, and my Wife, and my Father in Law, and commented on how our son has grown, then called HIM by name. I had not been there with all of them since he was an infant....this kind of personal service is either some crazy government stuff, or just a really good owner.

I then proceeded to ask her what I could order for my 1 and 1/2 year old son, she said, "Lots of kids love the chicken nuggets and Egg drop soup, we will cool it off for him." When it got to the table it was perfect for him, he loved all of it...and the egg drop soup may have been the best I ever tasted in my life. My Entree of General Tso's Chiken was heaping, and the fried rice was perfect, she asked if I wanted it Thai hot (she remembered this form 3 years ago mind you, that I love overly spicy things), in which I replied I wont let you down...and the dish didnt let ME down. It was blazing hot, but just to the point where the hot actually brought MORE flavor out in the meal. I capped it off with a home rolled egg roll, and some Tsang Thai Beer.....

Overall....if you are in the Buckeye Lake area, try this place before it closes. The food and service is amazing. The price is comparable to any other Chinese food joint you will ever go to. Just remember, bring CASH! No Checks or Credit Cards are Accepted!

Heath food type restaurant, food was good and the portion was large but so was the cost for rice, beans and vegetables. I would go back but share my meal with my wife... And get something different

If you go, you might have a hard time finding Bama.

There is a Bam though. http://www.bamhealthycuisine.com/

It's good but way overpriced.

went to Chili Verde on Bethel/sawmill plaza...not much to look at from the outside but wow the food is amazing. I am usually more of an el vaquero guy when i get mexican food, but this was more spicy, kinda tex-mex i guess. either way very good and i reccommend it
