Why? Pick the best option to PH

If you are going with the no 3rd string catcher case please find me 3 examples (in the last decade) of the backup getting injured and the 3rd stringer having to catch a few innings

Sure, why not? All they have to do is put the new pitcher in for someone other than the #9 hitter.

I don't know all the ins and outs of double switching.

But he made an out, I feel like that should end his opportunity to play...
