Not that it mattered. But did the Knicks not get the ball across the time line in 8 seconds the possession after the cavs cut it to 2 or 3?

Well the 8 seconds isn't technically over until the clock goes to 15.9.

Yeah I'm not disagreeing with you guys. I didn't see the play.

But the shot clock only shows tenths of a second under 5(maybe 10?) seconds. So when the shot clock shows 16, the 8 seconds isn't over.

But I also can probably count on one hand the amount of times I have seen it called.

Oh well. Another (bigger) game tomorrow night. I think Lebron will have a monster game tomorrow.

He should be more aggressive tomorrow.

Even more lenient on in bounds plays....I've seen 6.5 seconds allowed before calling a timeout.

Goes the other way too. Last night in the Laker game(maybe Tuesday night?), there was one call at no more than 4 seconds. Quickest I've seen.

Pretty standard for NBA officiating though.

I've never seen it that way in the NBA....NBA refs really bother me....just seem like part of the show.

Somebody needs to start the regular season thread. This is obviously why we lost.

This is a falsehood. The clock doesnt start at 23...it is on 24 just as long as every other number.

Thanks for continuing to prove how big of an idiot you are regarding all sports in general. My guess is last night is the first time you've ever seen him play considering your front running tendencies.

Cum on, guys. He's made it known that he cheers for LBJ, and no taem, and has been that way his hole life.

Aww someone got their feelings hurt. I've watched him played all through college, in Cavs games last year and all this summer. He's not good enough to be a back up pg in the NBA. He is a third string pg, not a rotation player on a championship level team.

I'm sure you were a big Saint Mary's fan during his time there. They were on prime time every other night.

They were on quite a bit late night because they play on the west coast, same with Gonzaga. Point stands, look around the league at some of the back up PG's.
