If we're talking the elite prep school stuff that gets aired on ESPN channels from time to time, I could see a comparison between a high school schedule to the conference schedule for a low-tier conference (as in the conferences you see in the 16 vs 16 play-in games). But nothing else under any situation.

Come on man just stop.
Wiggins scored 4 points in a tournament game, Durant averaged 28.5 in his two.

Of course he does. Durant was one of the best college players ever. No one is comparing the two, except for namod randomly.

Especially Kansas' schedule, which was statistically the hardest schedule in the history of the NCAA if I remember correctly.

Love played 77 games last year and averaged 26 and 12 a game, where else are you going to find that. He's not a poor defender either, he's just not a rim protector, rebounding is also part of defense and people tend to forget that. The Cavs are trying to win titles now and they should be commended for that. They are now hands down the favorite in the east and one of the top 2-3 teams in the NBA.
How can you rip some of the NBA players you do for playing no defense and then defend Kevin Love as being not that bad bc he rebounds?

And waiting 1 year for Love wouldnt of killed them, and theyd of had a better tema to welcome him to

You don't know that Love would have gone to Cleveland after this season.

Lol youre completely fucking retarded. I AM NOT COMPARING THE TWO.

Namod made fun of Kansas losing in the first round (wrong) then pumped up durant whose Texas team lost in the same round as Kansas' lol.

They wouldn't have gotten Love had they waited a year unless he was willing to sign for a lot less than he wanted.

They could NOT have gotten Love next year. We would've had NO cap space. The only reason we can do it now and resign his is because of his Bird Rights. We had to trade for him this season if it was to ever happen unless we unloaded major assets.

I said he wasn't that bad because he is a good positional defender, he just isn't a shot blocker or a rim protector. And yes rebounding is a part of defense and he is the best in the world at that. There was no guarantee they were going to get Love after a year, they needed to acquire his bird rights to even be able to sign him long term. Also him being injury prone is a misnomer imo, he has had some hand injuries and things like that but not knee or anything major like that which could be reoccurring. DRose is someone who is injury prone.

No I made fun of them because you tried to use the "system" cop-out to counter the obvious fact the KD was better in college than Wiggins. I'm trying to compare players and you're spinning it to compare teams.

Yeah don't know why people can't understand this.

So offer Minny Bennett Waiters and a 1st, then let hem stew over it. REalize nobody else was offering them anything even close and hes walking away at the end of the year. THat way you have Wiggins, and bird rights on Love.

OR you could get impatient, offer them the best young prospect in years plus bennett and a #1 and they pull the trigger.

Neither am I, just throwing those stats out there since people are saying he is the best prospect since Durant. Was it the system that caused him to struggle, or was it him?

Who's to say that someone else wouldn't have came in and offered more and pulled off the trade? Chicago, Golden State. The Cavs swung for the fences and hit a home run. They are instant title favorites/contenders. With Wiggins they wouldn't have been.

And let's wait two years for Wiggins to develop before becoming much of an impact (Kawhi Leonard, anybody?). At that time, LeBron is 32 and starting down the slope of regression before Wiggins is even ready.

Guys, please understand that I like Wiggins a lot. I think he can eventually be a stud, but he's not going to be this year. There is a learning curve in the NBA, and aside from special talents like LeBron, Durant, Carmelo... players aren't going to come in and dominate. Time is not on our side in regards to LeBron. He's 30 years old, going into season number 12, and has played an additional 2 seasons if you add up the playoff games he's been in. That puts him going into season 14. We don't have a ton of time left for LeBron's prime. We need to use it wisely. Waiting on Wiggins to develop would not be doing that.

Why is everyone so pressed for winning right this instant? When Lebron is anything but concerned about that

"I’m not promising a championship. I know how hard that is to deliver. We’re not ready right now. No way. Of course, I want to win next year, but I’m realistic. It will be a long process, much longer than it was in 2010. My patience will get tested. I know that."

Granted this was before the Love trade

And who reached out to Love to recruit him, wanting him to come to Cleveland? I'll give you a hint.....not Wiggins. So I call BS on Lebron being "anything but concerned about that" regardless of what the SI.com article said.

Why would he be trying to recruit K-Love? Because he was patient and just wanted to be decent? You're funny.

Lebron is 29 and in the conversation of being one of the best of all time, he's trying to win a title every year or at least have a shot at one regardless of what he says. He's all about legacy and trying to define that. This was more than likely his plan all along, he knew he wasn't coming back to an empty cupboard.

This thread is getting dumber by the post.

Also lbj would have gone to OSU. that's a guaranteed championship IMO.
